Re: Dartford v Burgess Hill Town Tue 30 Sep 2025

We are a very fragile club atm . The performance until the penalty miss was excellent. The pen should have been taken by Sam no 3
Once the the pen didn’t go in we lacked confidence snd came out in the second in a frantic mess. The coaches were all frantic as were the players. I have no idea if the ...

Re: Dartford v Cheshunt Sat 27 Sep 2025

Very pleased with the win and Cheshunt were not the threat I expected but tbf we nullified them in the first half and deserved the lead. We made hard work of it the second half but the main thing is we got there in the end
If we win a few more games soon and look like making the playoffs or better ...

Re: Dartford v Cheshunt Sat 27 Sep 2025

Just saying that chesunt have great pace on the flanks and we must deal with it. No doubt Ade and the coaching staff are aware and will be dealing with it
Hoping for three points nevertheless

Re: Goodbye Dave

Very sad to hear of Duke’s passing. He was a true fan of DFC. Whenever we passed each on the terraces we would always stop for a chat. He was a gentleman and will not be forgotten.
I send my condolences to his family and friends and to Trevor and 5th who were very close to Duke

Just to add to these miserable DFC times...
Sad news while at Aveley, we learned that Dave Kent
(aka, The Duke) passed away yesterday.
Our immediate thoughts and prayers are for his wife and family, including Trevor and Matt Burgess.
R.I.P Dave +

Re: Dartford Players of The Past

With the Darts away at a shite place I went to Waltham Abbey for a Trophy game v Lowestoft. Khale Da Costa went off injured after 2 minutes.the left winger Mohamud had another very good game.
As for Amrit Bansal-McNulty what a player proper two footed livewire
Kept switching from right to left ...

Re: Dartford Players of The Past

Amrit again played well and showed a lot of maturity in helping Abbey get a 2-0 lead in the first half. The ball was more on the right today so Amrit wasn’t as visible as He was on Tuesday. However he ghosted in through the middle like Martin Peters to get on the the end of a low cross into the box ...

Re: Dartford Players of The Past

He was Amrit Bansal- McNulty. Looked him up and whilst I don’t remember him he ws on loan to Dartford four years ago for a handful of games and scoring one goal
He was absolutely brilliant and a real bundle of energy scoring both Abbey goals in a 2-1 win , the winning goal coming when they were ...

Re: Dartford Players of The Past

There are three non league clubs fairly close to me and I get to watch them 2/3 times each season
Last night I went to Waltham Abbey v Witham Town. I was excited to see that Gabe Campbell was playing for Witham. He played quite well making two excellent runs down the right, one ending in a decent ...

2 down inside a few minutes to the bottom of the league side who until today, had only scored two goals all season with no points is...........

So not for the first time we were left chasing a game and whilst the players never give up and dragged us back into it again, it's those same players who ...

Re: Dartford v Canvey Island Sat 6 Sep 2025

Sadly another terrible result.
Even though we conceded two awful goals I thought Ben and George played very well
However there is no cover for the defence from midfield and you could see Canvey breaking through our midfield with too much ease.
At times Olly was unplayable and I made him motm.
If I ...

I am overjoyed with the draw and look forward to go Tuesday so I can see the game

Re: Dartford v Carshalton Athletic Sat 23 Aug 2025

First half we played with lead boots but probably could have led at HT had we taken our chances, despite the fact that carshalton outran our midfield and defence.
In the second half we put on proper football boots and came out with the required energy and pace.
We fully deserved the win and I was ...
