I see London City Lionesses are relocating to Bromley FC this season. Not sure what impact this will have on club finances. I seem to recall them losing a big match here against Arsenal women due to the weather which may have helped make their decision. Wonder if the club is looking to replace them with another team?

Situated in the London Borough of Bromley, the 5,000-capacity stadium is an excellent facility, with the installation of a world-class hybrid-stitched pitch scheduled ahead of the 2024-25 Barclays Women’s Championship season.
In addition to hosting our fixtures on an improved playing surface, supporters will have access to a wider range of matchday hospitality, entertainment, and retail outlets at the home of Bromley FC.
“I am committed to providing the best playing and training environments for London City, and am delighted to announce a new stadium-sharing agreement with Men’s EFL League Two side Bromley FC, which will see us play all of our home games this season at Hayes Lane,” said London City Lionesses Owner Michele Kang.
“This will give London City a rightful home in London, in the London Borough of Bromley.”
Director of Operations Natalie Curtis added: “The installation of a hybrid-stitched pitch matches our aspirations to create the best environment for our players to showcase their talents and hopefully excite our fans with their performances on the pitch.
“Hayes Lane is a wonderful stadium and will help us provide the matchday experience our fans deserve. Broomfields is an exceptional venue, allowing us to host special events and encourage more people to fall in love with London City Lionesses and the women’s game.”
The Pride’s relocation follows a season of landmark attendance growth, which saw our previous turnout records in the Barclays Women’s Championship, Adobe Women’s FA Cup, and Continental Tyres League Cup shattered.
Director of Football Ronald Thompson commented: “It’s right that we are now playing on a surface that will be recognised as being one of the best in London. We have players who have played at the very highest level for the national teams and we’re thrilled to be able to make Hayes Lane our long-term home.”
Mark Hammond, Bromley FC’s CEO, added: “This partnership represents an amazing opportunity to help support and enhance women’s football, and bring the Barclays Women’s Championship to Hayes Lane. It will also help drive our own women’s football ambitions and further underpins the Club’s strategy for financial growth, as we enter a new chapter of our development on and off the field."

If Ebbsfleet's new Stadium goes ahead, they will be looking for a groundshare while the work is carried out. Distance and transport links make Princes Park the logical choice. However two of our previous ground sharers Thamesmead Town and Greenwich Borough both folded so I hope Ebbsfleet are not superstitious.

One million for a season sounds fair.tommytollbooth wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2024 6:57 am If Ebbsfleet's new Stadium goes ahead, they will be looking for a groundshare while the work is carried out. Don't be greedy..... Ask £100k per game, they'll think it's cheaperBRASSNECK wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2024 6:04 pmOne million for a season sounds fair.tommytollbooth wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2024 6:57 am If Ebbsfleet's new Stadium goes ahead, they will be looking for a groundshare while the work is carried out.
