Disgrace, an absolute disgrace. I need to cool down before posting anymore as I’m absolutely fuming with that.

How many times did we give the ball away again?
So tired of watching teams come here and completely dominate midfield ..
CC deserved the win imo , left it a bit late tho..
On to next week ..COYD

I'm so angry.

I think assessing the game as a whole a draw would've been fair. They had more chances especially on the counter, but we probably had the better of the chances so on that evaluation we could argue we deserved to win. Alex had two in the first half, one blocked and the header should've gone in. Luke in the 2nd half had a ball across that if hit with any power would've beaten the keeper.

I believe had Connor not have had to go off injured we would've won the game. Murtagh came on and once again it all went to s**t. A lazy pass for the first goal (again for about the 5th time this season - I've lost count) has cost us points. I can only assume the new CB we signed hadn't been registered in time or hadn't done any training but with him and Dunn in midfield I can't see how Murtagh can play in the run in.

Why can't we ever beat Chelmsford, it was looking good for so long. God help us if we come up against them in the playoffs.

The only positive today is Oxford and Braintree both dropping points, so win our 2 games in hand and we're still in a very strong position. This has given Chelmsford all the motivation they need however.

Sam MOTM.

Missed opportunity

On another note Ebbsfleet fans on our twitter make me laugh. Regardless of today's results they were winning the league yet they're acting like it's a big deal.

They've spent more on their squad than I could even guess at they shouldn't even be worrying about us

Disappointing performance today against clever opponents who never missed a chance to pinch ten yards or grab a Dartford shirt or arm. You need a strong ref when you play a team like this and ..... Biggest disappointment for me was that their keeper did not have a single save to make. Sad he acted the fool at the final whistle.

Why are we such reluctant shooters? For chances created, Chelmsford deserved their victory. We chanced our luck many times with Dan in great form and some great last ditch challenges and goal line clearances. I do not believe that we even forced a single corner today, yet I lost count of how many Chelmsford won.

It may do us good to need to win our last few matches. We looked a little dis-interested today.

Up against the worst defence in the league next week. Please bombard their box.

1st half we edged it and went in 1-0 up.
Unfortunately apart from the odd attack we were outplayed in the 2nd half.imo.
A fighting draw was our best hope but they popped up with the winner in time added on and that was that.
Tactics ,fitness or luck on Chelmsford
Part?
NOT imho ,they simply wanted it more.
