Chelmsford come to PP on the back of a 4-2 beating of Worthing. As said previously this could be a humdinger and I truly hope it is. Let's hope it's not a replica of the Oxford City game billed also as a humdinger.
To be honest, at this time, it's a very important game for us and Chelmsford.
I wouldn't mind UGLY as long as we win.

Today has all the makings of being a tasty game as all the teams enter the business end of the season. International weekend and today being Non League day should hopefully add a few more to the attendance figures and hopefully Chelmsford bring along a few more given their challenge for the playoffs.

In all my years of following the Darts since the late 1950's, Chelmsford are possibly one of the most regularly contested fixtures over that time since our days in the Southern League. Both clubs have had their off field problems to deal with in the past, both of a similar size and support base. Nearly always games to look forward to and today is no exception.

I had been hoping to get down to this game, but now unable to do so. But I will be tuning into the commentary, which has been excellent this season, as have the match previews by DiscoStu, which I always look forward to.

It might be a bit of an experimental side today with the new signings coming in, but hopefully we can quickly gel and have enough about us to push on. Very windy and raining up in the northwest this morning, so hope the weather is somewhat better at PP.

Pete, it has been windy and raining all week down here but today it appears to be dry and calm, with a bit of cloud cover. Just had a look on my Accuweather App and there is a 15% chance of a light shower with a wind speed high of 25kmh.

Just had a look at their forum, they are well up for this and view us as their biggest rival in the division. I always see £bb$fl££t, Welling & M@id$ton£ as rivals, but maybe we need to review this and add Chelmsford into the same category. It would be nice for the club to relax the rules on our younger supporters too as we will need that 12th man today and whether you like them or not, our youth supporters really know how to get behind the team. Come on DFC, give our young supporters a chance and let them in. COYD

I think it is called wishful thinking M1S. However, I did see a group of around 10 sign up at the last home game, so the word is spreading. All they need to do is sign up and be responsible for their actions. Watch this space, I think you will find that there will be a few in attendance today! Either way, we all need to get behind the boys and not rely on the youngsters to drive the team on.
