Personally looking forward to my first game of the season. Should be interesting considering where the two teams finished last season.

Wow - after Saturday there are no comments bar a couple ahead of our first home game of the season !
It’s like we’ve given up ?!?
We have played one game and got battered - totally unacceptable for this club but come on fellow Darts let’s get behind the boys and get our first win of season
Surely we have the players !
I fear the crowd will be low tomorrow allowing for holidays etc but our first win cannot come quickly enough ! The club has a plan to be back in the National Conference so let’s all try and support the team. I’ve come down from Derbyshire for this so COYD !
We are Dartford !

Given up Paul!! Hardly.
One game hardly puts me in the doldrums.
I'll be there tonight.

Far from given up. So far. But if we play like that again tonight and Saturday, we’re bottom on zero points and, possibly, zero goals after three games! I’m sure Ade and the lads are fully aware of that and they all know we have what it takes to fight back. I just hope last Saturday was one of those ‘opening day flukes’ and we’re back to normal tonight.

I was just reflecting on when compared to previous campaigns in the conference and conference south, on how many comments there used to be in anticipation of our first home game of the season. I knows things change but I wish there were more positive comments because the players may well read the forum
Come on you Darts !!

We all remember our first venture into what is now The National Premier. After four games, not a point and looked certain whipping boys.
Enough said. Last season we were moaning in October. Enough said.

Ozy - we lost our first 3 then won the next 4 in the Conference National - what a season that was - I know things change and some of us recall it all too often but that was the best football year of my life tbh. We lost 18 times but won 19 games and we were on the map big time when we beat Mansfield live on tv - Ryno legendary goalozymandias wrote: Tue Aug 12, 2025 9:36 am We all remember our first venture into what is now The National Premier. “We managed to get two divisions’ separation from the non-league premier too”? Think that’s what I’d be sayingPaulcanary wrote: Tue Aug 12, 2025 2:53 pm I live close ish to Mansfield and people I meet there when I go occasionally still ask how we are going these days

We all have to put Dulwich behind us tonight. Our lads did pretty well in the friendlies and half of them are decent known quantities from last season. If we win tonight and results go our way, we might start the day bottom of the league and finish it in the playoffs (although we’d need a few goals!).

I will be addicted to my phone from Kos tonight. Wore my dartford shirt Saturday for the Dulwich game , plenty of Charlton fans saying hello to the dartford fan.
Same again tonight glued to my phone and looking out for updates and comments. I’m sure the boys will be hurting.

Does anyone know why Mcleod wasn’t involved against Dulwich? Hopefully he’s back tonight
Fingers crossed it’s not a Ben Allen/Sam Caiger situation

Matches on the first day of the season can throw up results that make you scratch your head - let's hope that was the case at Dulwich. Look back to last season and Potters Bar lost the first game of the season at home to Dover by the small margin of 8-0 - they didn't do too badly after that!
Big match tonight so let's see the reaction of the squad and management, this is where we will get more idea of their mettle.

Some desperation at the back and haven't really tested their keeper yet.
Having said that we have had a little go at them and they look shaky hence the goal from Boxy.
Get in.
