Also, Dean Nayler invited back to pre-season training after a year out injured.

Glad to see Samir 'in discussion' though I thought his injury was career-ending. Of course great if it was not and he can feature again.

Will be interesting to see who eventually stays and of course new signings,

I hope 7 of the “ in discussion “ stay and Ade comes in to take the others with him

I assume Ben has yet to state his views on these players so it is up to him to say who he wants to retain.

I wouldnt mind all of the palyers in discussion to stay,

I know Henly was not in the best of form at the start of the season but I thought he played really well the end part of the season

Callum Jones I know gets a bit of stick becuase he played all games when others didnt but that was not his fault it was the manger who picked him and I believe correct me if im wrong got 20 assits last season

The amount goals we would get from Eddie, Olly and Dan Smith speaks for it self, Samir for his experience and he also knows where the goal is,
Joe Tennent would be my choice for Captain and along with George Whitfield Sam Okoye and Sam Oduudu would be a very good defence and Luther is a great player to have come of the bench.and is also a very good defender.

Plus any players Ben brings in I feel we have the making of a good squad if used correctly not as Pennock did,

My guess is Pennock will also be sniffing around some of these players. Be intersting who goes and who stays now.

And so all the pre-season excitement begins! In the heat of the moment I had been quite keen for all the ‘coingate’ participants to sod off and we start afresh. Of course that’s just not feasible and I too hope most of those on the ‘discussion list’ are retained especially if Samir is fit enough for another season. That would be a quality ‘signing’ already!

Bit disappointed about the other two leaving but I’m quite relieved Michael has gone. He was nothing but a liability and a piss-poor example of captaincy.

I have a suspicion that Ben won’t stand for any shenanigans and he’ll get a grip of our poor discipline and organisation. Joe or George for skipper for me. A close contest that one.

I can’t wait to find out who’s staying and who Ben is bringing in. This page is on permanent refresh!

If possible, Tennent would make a good club captain.

Great news on Joe Tennent , agree with Pedro , hopefully Joe will be made captain. He is the right age and good enough to be captain for a couple of seasons at least

I’ll agree with that. With George a close contender?

Along with Sam.O (if he stays?), Ben's Academy Captain, in midfield.

If he stays I'd play Sam Odaudu CM.
Would add that bit of physical prsence we've been missing.
