Rail tickets and seat reservations made for my trip down from Merseyside for this game. Booked early as Everton fans will be also be coming down to Chelsea in big numbers for that game, so let's hope we can get those 3 points we need to stay in contention for the play offs.

Really hoping we go into this game with something to play for. That would be a bonus for me, because ba k in February, we were looking way off the pace to even being in with a chance of the playoffs.

Looking forward to catching up with fans.

Have the club had voting for the 'Player of the Season' yet?

The final two games for each side around us...

4: Brentwood Town: Cheshunt (A), Chichester City (H)
5: Chatham Town: Potters Bar Town (A), Lewes (H)
6: Dartford: Chichester City (A), Cray Valley Paper Mills (H)
7: Cray Wanderers: Welling United (H), Burgess Hill Town (A).

My thoughts for each on points they could pick up from those fixtures would be...

Brentwood Town: 4 points
Chatham Town: 6 points
Dartford: 6 points
Cray Wanderers: 3 points

If that played out would leave the table like this...

4: Chatham Town: 79pts
5: Brentwood Town: 78pts
6: Dartford: 77pts
7: Cray Wanderers: 67pts

Actually, I did wonder. I was meeting up with Gareth Morgan and Sam Okoye, my being his Kit sponsor on that day. Even though I did buy a programme that day I didn't see any evidence of a voting form and really wasn't looking. But for the record I would have probably have voted for George Whitefield.

Last season during the title run-in, a disinterested mate of mine who was keeping an eye on results said of our 2-2 game at CW “That draw appears to have f****d you” and he was right. The same seems to have happened this time around already at Carshalton, who knows maybe we will get a bit of luck but obviously nothing but two wins will do.
It’s not over until it’s over.

Basically, because of goal difference, 4 points would see both Chatham and Brentwood through - we need one of them to lose a game. Made even harder that we’re the only team playing someone still with something to play for

Now this has become a non existent game we should let our kids have a go and potentially let Cray have a good chance of staying up because I’d rather play them next year than Carshalton

Depends who’s picking! You’ll probably be picked just ahead of me, last as usual! 😂

Yes you can in place of Eddy.
I’m sure AP would go for that.

Sadly and disappointingly, I will not now be travelling down for this game as intended, as an accidental injury to my foot will prevent me from being there. Still in a lot of pain. Ah well!! Always next season!!

Hi Ozy. The voting slips were handed out by myself and Karen at the turnstiles either end of the ground from around 1.30pm. Either you missed us, entered through reception or were one of the numerous people who brushed me aside, terrified that whatever I was handing out entailed them parting with money.

Hi Spike, yes I remember you being at the car park end because I only bought a programme. I really wasn't thinking at that time of 'player of the season '.
You didn't look as if you were after any money and I can't say I saw any voting papers. But as said, I wasn't looking.
Never mind, I won't be at the game Saturday as I'm in Cornwall but I'll be keeping an eye out on here.
Cheers anyway.
Catch you next season.

It's the lowest form of wit, but it's my personal favourite.
