While we must treat all opposition with respect this should be a great opportunity to tighten the screw on promotion rivals Saltdean by creating some parity with our goal difference.
With two defining games to follow against Dorking and Brentford to look forward to, I'll be opting out of this one incase our local rivals struggle to get a team together for the arduous journey to Princes Park. Yes, that's right, they've taken over from Haywards Heath by becoming this season's basketcases.
Following the Fulham experiment their most experienced players moved on last summer, leaving them with the team that managed to pull off two 6-0 back to back defeats against the West Londoners endorsing Fulham, then our title rivals, as league champions.
It looks like karma has hit them with a vengeance this season. You just need to look no further than the league table. Rock bottom with 12 games played and minus two points. Oh dear, how sad, never mind. Said Sergeant Major Williams. Let's hope 'It Ain't Half Hot' for them on Sunday afternoon.
If they turn up.

They will be there tomorrow, coming up the Thames by boat and mooring it in front of their goal. Darts must be patient and dismantle the rusty, unseaworthy relic, piece by piece, until a breakthrough is made. We will have the magnificent Lottie, lobbing deadly shots over the top, Captain Xayla, our very own wrecking ball, smashing them in the tackles and Abbey "deadly" Davies sending destruction through the middle, holing them below the waterline and finally sinking what is left of "The Fleet".
Before the Battle of Trafalgar, Nelson almost signalled "Dartford fans expect every player to do their duty". Our girls need to take this out on the pitch with them, as they always do, put the opposition to the sword, show them no mercy, bring home the three points, enjoy themselves and make us happy.
COME ON YOU DARTS

I assume we'll be losing Citizen Smith to the battle of Lambeth Bridge tomorrow. While the rest of the team will be unleashing epic fury on the Fleet.Lol wrote: Sat Mar 14, 2026 6:06 pm They will be there tomorrow, coming up the Thames by boat and mooring it in front of their goal.
