Re: Isthmian Premier League News
I did see some online speculation that it another one of welling’s coaching team that had been arrested. The met police statement said the individual was 42 when Maxwell was 41 (or vice versa)
Or it could be that the potters bar manager has agreed to keep it under wraps and not press charges?

Folkestone losing 1-0 at home could we be seeing another Kent coast title wobble like last season ?
Re: Isthmian Premier League News
Finished Folkestone 0-1 Aveley who now leap frog us and push us out of the play off spots.

Showing as a Friday fixture alongside ours Aveley v Cray Wanderers both just above us, we need to beat # utd on Friday and we will be back in the play offsPark Life wrote: Tue Jan 06, 2026 11:31 pm Finished Folkestone 0-1 Aveley who now leap frog us and push us out of the play off spots.

I'd have much sooner Folkestone had won last night, there's no wobble there though.
We have to win Friday or we'll be the one's to wobble. Hashtag are putting together some good results lately.

I think we needed a Folkestone win last night. It’s a given they’ll go up as champions. We need those between them and us to slip up.

Re: Isthmian Premier League News
Everyone said the same about Dover being certs for the title last year until there wobble happened straight after the new year, still think Folkestone are nailed on favourites and likely to win the title however it would be interesting to see if they do start dropping form if anyone can start to catch up.
Not to bothered about others results against each other and would happily see all our rivals turn over Folkestone as we will only get in the play off spots if we are good enough over the course of the whole season and if we don’t regardless of others results it will be solely on us and our results / form / amount of red cards etc.
I think we might sneak 4th or 5th however I agree this weeks game will be hard with # utd hitting a run of form having just turned over Bill & Ricky away.

Folkestone have just signed Ramsgate’s best player for a transfer fee !
Money talks I suppose they certainly seem on a promotion mission.

Hashtag will be on the move again next season as they will be taking on to yet another groundshare, this time at Redbridge. Since joining the football pyramid in 2018 they have shared grounds at Haringey Borough, Tilbury and Bowers and Pitsea, before moving to Aveley at the start of last season.

Re: Isthmian Premier League News
There's a letter in the NLP today from a Dartford supporter re a pleasure of non league football, especially his 6 years at Princes park.
He talks of far less play acting from players and feigning injury. He obviously wasn't at the Folkestone game when their players were going down as though shot and squealing at the top of their voices.
He talks of supporter's not swearing towards the opposition and officials. There's a guy close to wear I stand who screams obscenity's at both players and referees while almost suffering from a heart attack.
Perhaps this chap is watching from the bar, or wears an hearing aid on silent or off.
Bless him.

Just saw this on YouTube. Looks like they’re hoping to make this their long-term home, being a ground that’s had a bit of work done and on the central lineThe Futures White wrote: Mon Jan 12, 2026 9:15 am Hashtag will be on the move again next season as they will be taking on to yet another groundshare, this time at Redbridge. Aveley nicked a 2-1 win over Welling with a 90th minute goal last night. That's a shame they are now 4 points ahead of us in 4th place.

Strange that two of the top four are in a bit of a slump, but the two that aren’t in a slump are the two we’ve beaten recently. It shows that our current team are capable of competing with the top teams in this league - it’s just consistency that’s our issuetommytollbooth wrote: Tue Jan 20, 2026 8:51 am Aveley nicked a 2-1 win over Welling with a 90th minute goal last night. Re: Isthmian Premier League News
If you look at the amount of points we have dropped against the bottom 6-7 clubs I think it comes to around 9 which would have put us in 2nd place. We have a good record against the top sides with Folkestone the only club I think to beat us so far.Dart of Herts wrote: Tue Jan 20, 2026 11:37 amStrange that two of the top four are in a bit of a slump, but the two that aren’t in a slump are the two we’ve beaten recently. Very inconsistent but 100% we can beat anyone on our day I think as the Aveley and Chatham games have shown

The initial fixture on 27th Dec was abandoned with Whitehawk 2-0 up due to floodlight failure. It might be that they completed the match behind closed doors?Rixsto wrote: Wed Jan 21, 2026 6:31 am Anyone know why the whitehawk v lewes game was abandoned last night with whitehawk 2-0 up? It was also kept from all results/updates services. I suspect the Russians are behind it all. They’re having a new stadium built too. All very suspicious!
