Don’t think Pennock has covered himself in any glory today.
Will await the post match interview………..🙄

I can’t comment on today’s game as I wasn’t there but without Bland and Carter the team isn’t the same. If we are to remain in the playoffs we will need them both back ASAP.

I didn't think there was much between the two sides over the 90 minutes but it wasn't a great game, not helped by the windy wet conditions.
But from our perspective we have got to keep possession better as again we gave away too many loose passes and at times did not protect the ball well enough and were easily dispossessed/out muscled.
Strange then that we subbed Samir as imo he wasn't effected by the conditions, looked comfortable in possession and was our most likely player to create something from midfield.
Again a few players missing and with two forwards out we didn't have any real attacking options to come on from the bench and make an impact.
Felt at the start of the season we lacked a genuine winger/wide attacking player and not just play people there to fill in, this was another game where i felt this could have made a real difference
Bloody frustrating to concede such a late goal, especially as we completely ballsed up our corner which put us on the back foot and eventually led to their winner.
If we had come away with a point some would say that in the circumstances and conditions a decent enough result, but we didn't......

Not sure if Ady did tell the players to go straight back into the dressing room or not at the end, i guess he was pretty frustrated like the rest of us so maybe?? But it wasn't a good look when the vast majority just walked straight off and as far as i could tell only Samir, Joe, Jonny, Jez and Olly came over.

MOTM - a few had OK games (Joe, Jonny, Luther, Denzelle) but i'm struggling to think of one that stood out so really not sure who to vote for??

Still we're still in the play off positions and apparently our main aim of "survive in the league" looks pretty much secured

The players were 100% told not to come over. Ady stormed across the pitch effign and blinding at them to get straight in. Should look at himself before he blames anyone else.

Pennock stopping the players coming over at the end too is disgraceful. Fair play to Olly, tennnat and henly who ignored him and did it anyway.
Half the lineup out of position, subs coming on and making it worse.
Can’t remember a game where we’ve offered so little.
Jones with another stinking performance.
If Olly goes in Jan our season is done.
What? I wasn’t there. Why was AP stoping players coming over.

Nine times out of ten it would have been 3 points. The Lewes goalkeeper had a blinder and was Man of the Match.

Have to disagree. Think Lewes had the better clear cut chances, had a one on one with Henly which was saved well and also had a 3 on 1 at the end before they scored. It was a naff game, we had no outlet thanks to having an invisible striker and a holding midfielder playing out wide. We took our only creative outlet off for another holding midfielder who was also shipped out wide. We was needing a goal and we subbed off our #10 for a left back. The management got it wrong, to have Jones as our only available striker and 1 winger available playing a system with 2 wingers is criminal. No excuse to not get in a forward or 2 before Folkestone.

Can’t answer that mate. Can only say what I saw and heard and that was him yelling at them to get straight in.

100% agree with all the above. Don’t think we did anywhere near enough to warrant a win.
Square pegs in round holes all over the pitch.
Pinder isn’t a winger or a forward, playing him there lost us the energy he brings to the middle.
Jones was dreadful again.
The subs only made the situation worse as they all come on out of position too.
If Carter or Eddie aren’t back for the weekend then a loan is needed.

Could be that Ajaxman was having a slight at the agency and sincerity of our men’s team public relations from afar rather than giving an earnest account of yesterday’s events…

Never gonna be a classic in a wet and windy Sussex but I couldn’t understand why so many players were being played out of position. Jez Pinder is not a winger, he’s a holding midfielder and was ineffective playing out wide. We couldn’t keep possession and were out muscled all over the pitch. Our ‘striker’ couldn’t keep himself onside and apart from a brilliant display from the Lewes keeper we should have won. Still onwards and upwards to seal our place as a mediocre mid table club…..depressing

From out of the blue I was struck down with a rare optimism attack. Fortunately it was only a mild one and I'm ok now thank you.

If reading the match report in the NLP is anything to go by it sounds as if a draw would have been the correct result.
Their keeper had a much busier time of it and yet we had no attack, no midfield, no defence and definitely no goalkeeper.
Amazing.

Really could do with some reinforcements, sounds as though according to that interview that eddie is only just starting training again this week after being out so wont really be match fit, Dan Smith is still going to be out and not sure on Carter yet,

We must be able to find some reinforcements from somewhere, potters bar and clubs alike are still bringing players in so not sure what the issue is, unless it is what has been mentioned before and its the playing budget.

Blames everyone but himself.
He picked the side and chose to put so many players out of position.
He chose to make subs that made it even worse.

There also isn’t a chance that he didn’t know the players hadn’t come over, he was yelling at them to get straight in.
