Not a pretty win by the sounds of it but we’ll take it given our last week. Aveley and Dulwich dropping points too is a plus

And no 5 from Insane! Dreadful misses today and sloppy passing again. Thank goodness Chichester were utter shite and that their goalkeeper gifted us one shortly after the referee was the only person in Kent not to see the shirt pull for the easiest penalty one can ever award!! Great result. No medals.

Happy with the 3 points on a grey , wet and miserable day .
Chichester were very poor and on another day we could have had 5 or 6 . They never really troubled us apart from hitting the woodwork once.
Happy for Dan Smith for getting himself a brace albeit with a lot of help from the Chichester number 6 and the keeper for the 2nd . I only just got that one but I called it in the first half , I said they are not good enough to keep playing out form the back and if we put them under pressure we will catch them out .

Not the greatest of spectacles, but a well-deserved win against a team that had a large amount of possession but that offered very little in the final third of the pitch.
Our first goal was a very well taken opportunity, one-on-one with the keeper. This was to become a feature of the match as we went on to miss three other such opportunities, each by a different player. Thankfully this was not to prove costly as the defence gifted us the second goal whilst trying to play out from the back. It was not wise to pass square to the keeper with Dan Smith lurking nearby. The keeper was easily dispossessed and the ball was rolled into the open net.
Chichester did have one chance that dropped onto our crossbar and one shot with virtually the last kick of the match. Poor return for their travelling fans.
The ref appeared on top of proceedings for seventy-five minutes, before giving two very soft yellows against us and then failing to even speak to the Chichester player that committed the worst challenge of the game on the touchline directly in front of the linesman. I think this surpassed the first foul challenge of the match on the halfway line that I thought only escaped a card as it was so early in the match. Ninety minutes of consistency was clearly too much to expect.
Not sure about the gimmick of starting the game three minutes late. Silly posturing before matches should be kept out of football, even if football related.
Well done Darts. This was a good finish to a difficult week.

We may have needed the second goal but in the end we could have had 5.

I agree Grassbank. I wish football would stop this ridiculous posturing and tokenism. It pisses me right off! Limit it to RBL and folk passing away and stop politics and meaningless shit.

Did the ref book the bloke who put Sam almost into the wall? Especially after the tame booking of Jeremiah.

Random question but does anyone know why we seem to be playing towards the car park end in the first half so much more recently?
Re: Dartford v Chichester City Sat 15 Nov 2025
First half was a bit flat but we had a few chances and deserved our 1 lead at the break.
Second half we played with a bit more tempo and this was all that was needed to beat a pretty ordinary Chichester, in all honesty they didn't really cause us many problems all game.
Whilst the keeper did help us, credit to Dan for chasing it down and forcing the error and if we'd taken one of a few more decent chances we had, we could have won by a bigger margin.
A decent enough performance to get us back to winning ways.
MOTM - two stand out contenders for me. Dan Smith who looks a good all round forward and chipped in with two goals and Dan Carter. I just went for Dan Carter as i thought he had a great game. Looks very comfortable in possession and was involved throughout the 90 minutes.
