Sure it'll be well advertised on social media, programme, on the fixture boards and poster at Dartford Station etc

Didn't DFC form a partnership with Southeastern trains back in June?
If that's the case, with the number of busy routes connecting Dartford to London, and drawing a London club of QPR's stature in the FA Cup, with the amount of footfall from commuters alone passing through in their thousands on a weekly basis, Dartford station should be plastered with posters by Monday at the latest.

I wondered where she'd gone. It'll be nice to see her Sunday week. I hope she has an off day though.

Faye called me and Keith hooligans last season. 🤣 We took it as intended and had a good laugh with her.

Mick has been doing his best to get things improved for Dartford FC Women.
Well done for 'pressurising' the powers that be to get the FA Cup tie with QPR onto the main fixture board.

What do people think?

Well done Mick. Eye catching opposition too. I'm sure it'll make a few passers by look twice.

More of this please. EVERY home match needs to go on those boards.

This ain't looking good for me at the moment. Train operator Avanti cancelled all their trains today including the 19:22 Blackpool to Euston. Wish I had booked the coach both ways as I've been doing recently.
However, I haven't given up yet. The station staff couldn't confirm if there will be trains tomorrow even though there is one scheduled to depart at 9:18 in the morning. It's a bit like checking out the fixtures on the L&SERL website. I'll go back down to the station first thing tomorrow and see what's going on. It'll be tight if it does run, getting into London at 12:46.
And should there be any delays on the actual journey itself then I'll be stuffed and lucky to make the final whistle. I've also just checked out two trains which are running at the moment with God knows how many changes with a couple of bus journeys thrown in the middle, taking in Manchester, Nottingham, Derby and Leicester eventually rocking up at St. Pancras at 9:50 in the morning. How do I know this? Because I've been following both of these journeys on the live tracker on the Trainline app. Yet the station staff at Blackpool knew nothing of their existence. This is another classic example of a complete cock up caused by lack of communication. Let's see what tomorrow brings. I've got a feeling another interview with the press could be on the horizon.
Plus my dispute with West Midlands Railway is still ongoing with the rail ombudsman just days away from getting involved. But atleast I can look forward to submitting my 50% off voucher for my next booking with National Express, following a recent substandard coach journey.

Good luck to the girls today. I will be avidly following the game on Twitter X.
Unfortunately I woke up this morning to discover my train tickets have now been deleted from the app and I was referred to the Trainline assistant instead, which is basically an outdated chatbot which is incapable of answering the most basic questions. I did try on several occasions to trip it up into overthinking in an attempt to get it to implode and permanently crash, putting it out of it's miserable and pointless existence. This ticket is not refundable is about all I got out of it in the end.
The first train to London is now scheduled to leave Blackpool at 9:18 this morning. If it runs that is. And providing it's on time apparently arrives in London at 12:46. Looking at it realistically that's highly unlikely. There will be a disruption somewhere along the line (no pun intended). And you can bet your bottom dollar there will be engineering works either diverting trains, slowing them down with speed restrictions or replaced by a bus service altogether.
I do have screenshots of my original tickets but the bar codes will probably be invalidated if my tickets have been deleted through third party cancellation. Basically everything would have to run smoothly from arriving at Euston bang on time, not waiting more than a few minutes for the tube to arrive with a train departing to Dartford imminently with no diversions en route. There won't be a minute to spare on the worst day of the week for travelling on public transport. It was chaos at Blackpool last night. Staff were totally bamboozled by the timetables. And despite declaring I should be able to board any future trains with my tickets it will only take an onboard jobsworth of an official to say otherwise, demanding more money because they've deemed my ticket invalid, it'll be the beginning of a Michael Douglas moment from the movie "Falling Down" for me. The day will gradually detoriate and I will be more likely to find myself spending the duration of this afternoon's FA Cup third round tie, somewhere between London and the North West, helping the police with their enquiries.
So far better to stick to doing what I do best as a compensation specialist. And for the right reasons too. There are far too many companies and organisations out there who are either incompetent through lack of communication, inefficiency or downright neglect who deserve the occasional bloody nose by hitting them where it hurts. Which is in their pockets.
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed our ladies can get through to the next round.
Come on girls.
Up the Darts!

The 8 am train which went off line during the night miraculously appeared this morning as I picked up it's tracker.
It still wasn't due in at London until 12:46 either. Oh, and by the way the 9:18 was cancelled just before it was due to leave.
There was no driver available apparently. Ofcourse there wasn't. They earn so much money now no bugger wants the overtime anymore. And why should they when they can afford to enjoy the extra down time with their families?
I lay the blame firmly at door of the of the prick who lies behind the cause of everything else that's wrong with this country and has been top of the football chants at every ground up and down the country for weeks.
