He was absolutely brilliant and a real bundle of energy scoring both Abbey goals in a 2-1 win , the winning goal coming when they were down to ten men
Obviously someone at Dartford will remember him but I urge someone at the club to take a look
On Saturday Abbey have an fa cup game so they could take a look at Gabe’s progress and check out the two Abbey players I mentioned
Rambo, I was at Waltham Abbey first game of the season when Felixstowe played there. Bansal-McNulty played and was very impressive in that match, too. Dribbling through the middle with pace and caused problems all game. Not sure he’d solve any width issues at the Darts as he played centrally and was involved all the time. Certainly worth Ady having a look especially if he can be prized away and reduce Waltham Abbey’s title aspirations. 😂
Nice post Skip. I just turned up at Waltham Abbey to watch a game rather than to “scout” but there is always a chance to find a gem. I was very pleased to find Gabe playing and pleased that initially I saw some good wing play from Gabe and the lad from Abbey but as I have said I ended up drooling over Bsnsal-McNulty.
I never once saw him as someone to solve our width issues but if we were to get him it would be for his dynamism in midfield which is the area of the team which imo we need to improve.
The fact is Ade has a way of coaching and I have no idea if he always coaches his teams this way or whether he thinks the present method is best for DFC. I very much doubt we will splash out on wide players so we continue to support Ade and the players after all we almost made it back to NS last season so no reason why we will not be in the mix this season.
Obviously as I gave said someone at the club will know of Bansal-McNulty and if he is wanted at the DFC they know what to do
Hopefully I will watch them again this Saturday and if i do no doubt I will bore you all with my thoughts on his performance again🤣🤣

FA Cup v divisional rivals Gorleston on Saturday should be a very close contest. Reckon he may well prove to be the difference again. Enjoy.

I’ll be interested in Rambo’s scouting report on his latest performance but suggest Dartford have a look before someone else takes a punt. He’s definitely up to step 3 level football.

Amrit again played well and showed a lot of maturity in helping Abbey get a 2-0 lead in the first half. The ball was more on the right today so Amrit wasn’t as visible as He was on Tuesday. However he ghosted in through the middle like Martin Peters to get on the the end of a low cross into the box from the right to power the ball into the net.
The ball for his goal came from a cross/pass from Khale Da Costa, another player I had never heard of. Looked him up and he us 31 and played for numerous teams in the NS and Chatham and folkstone
I know we are not looking for a winger but omg how good he is. The reason Amrit was not on the ball a lot is because they kept feeding Khale down the right.
I heard fans saying Abbey have a lot of injuries to wingers so they brought Khale in this week as he didn’t have a club , released at the end of last season
Interesting that thd best two players on the pitch combined for the first goal
If you ask me both players are too good for isthmian north. Also I bet any money that Ade or Roland know about Khale and probably Amrit.
I would seriously bring them both to DFC if that is possible

Over to Steve Miller & his band of scouts, for Ade / Roland's attention and considerations.

Whitstable Town flying under Jamie Coyle after last season's FA Vase victory now doing well in the FA Cup, last night beating Chichester 1-0 now home to Hungerford in 3rd Qualifying Rd. Shame Jamie couldn't do it for us when he was joint manager.

With the Darts away at a shite place I went to Waltham Abbey for a Trophy game v Lowestoft. Khale Da Costa went off injured after 2 minutes.the left winger Mohamud had another very good game.
As for Amrit Bansal-McNulty what a player proper two footed livewire
Kept switching from right to left sides and floating into the middle
He scored a great header from a left wing cross
Set up a goal with a stinging shot from 30 yards that cannoned off the post for Mohamud to convert
And also set up a goal with a nice run and pass into the box from the right
I do not understand why he is playing at this level, surely he will be snapped up soon
I don’t know at what stage we enter the trophy but I dearly hope we get drawn away to Waltham Abbey so Ade can have a good look at him
Abbey have a very old school ground but an absolutely exquisite grass pitch

Martial Godo made his first start for Strasbourg in their 3-2 win away to PSG.

I see that Femi Akinwandi has left Billericay, doesn’t say where he’s gone to now.

I would imagine that Danny Scopes is clearing out the dead wood and bringing in players that he wants. It will be interesting to see whether DS will be successful with a budget instead of having to see all his best players taken by the bigger clubs.

Going back to Femi, I’m not sure whether he is any better than what we have at present. Personally, I would prefer a decent winger or midfielder in the same mould as Hayden Bullas.
