Re: Dartford Players of The Past
Gabe Campbell and Ben Allen did well for Witham.
Re: Dartford Players of The Past
Damon Golding scored for M@id$ton£ yesterday. So far 2 goals and an assist. Always thought he was a decent player…but.

Jonty, why do you emphasis the Maidstone crowd with a dollar and pound sign? Surely they would have got a decent stadium instead of a tin shed if they were loaded.

Re: Dartford Players of The Past
It's not the Ben Allen who played for Dartford, he's at Chatham.
Re: Dartford Players of The Past
LS, that’s because I couldn’t find any suitable characters. However, I have just had another attempt. Former Dartford academy player Martial Godo has left Fulham for Strasbourg in a deal reportedly in the region of £6 million. Unfortunately Fulham wouldn't agree to a sell on clause when they signed him from Dartford/Margate.

Went down to Potters Bar vs St Albans this evening and Alex Wall featured for an hour, looking sharp as a marble. Couldn’t keep up with the game and didn’t even win any headers

Adam Lovatt has ended his stay at Wingate & Finchley and has joined Hashtag Utd.
Re: Dartford Players of The Past
There are three non league clubs fairly close to me and I get to watch them 2/3 times each season
Last night I went to Waltham Abbey v Witham Town. I was excited to see that Gabe Campbell was playing for Witham. He played quite well making two excellent runs down the right, one ending in a decent shot that took a deflection and out for a corner the other being a a ground cross/pass into the box which strikers just missed. However in the second half he was switched to left and scored superb equaliser into the top far corner
I have watch Abbey for many years and this team is definitely the best they have had in my time
A left winger caught my eye at first Abdirahman Mohamud very quick and skilled and hugged the line well
After 15 minutes of so I realised I was watching a quite brilliant little midfielder that was controlling the whole tempo of the game
He was Amrit Bansal- McNulty. Looked him up and whilst I don’t remember him he ws on loan to Dartford four years ago for a handful of games and scoring one goal
He was absolutely brilliant and a real bundle of energy scoring both Abbey goals in a 2-1 win , the winning goal coming when they were down to ten men
Obviously someone at Dartford will remember him but I urge someone at the club to take a look
On Saturday Abbey have an fa cup game so they could take a look at Gabe’s progress and check out the two Abbey players I mentioned

Re: Dartford Players of The Past
Gabe Campbell's got potential, as you saw RB.
I recall Amrit Bonsal - McNulty, under Kingy?, as a nippy, skilful little one ?QPR loanee, who seemed to enjoy being with us, scoring 1-2 nice ones in his short spell as a Dart.
Either / both would add width and quality to our existing squad, IMHO.

Yes Ring of Fire your description nippy skilful little one is perfect. I see when we had him in 2020 he was 19 or 20 now at 25 you can add strength to that description

Amrit scored in the 5-1 win over Chippenham (skip to 5:34):rambo wrote: Wed Sep 10, 2025 12:16 pm Yes Ring of Fire your description nippy skilful little one is perfect. I see when we had him in 2020 he was 19 or 20 now at 25 you can add strength to that description
Re: Dartford Players of The Past
Wow there was a move exactly the same as that last night in the first ten minutes but unfortunately was inches away from a goal
Re: Dartford Players of The Past
Rambo, I was at Waltham Abbey first game of the season when Felixstowe played there. Bansal-McNulty played and was very impressive in that match, too. Dribbling through the middle with pace and caused problems all game. Not sure he’d solve any width issues at the Darts as he played centrally and was involved all the time. Certainly worth Ady having a look especially if he can be prized away and reduce Waltham Abbey’s title aspirations.rambo wrote: Wed Sep 10, 2025 8:52 am He was Amrit Bansal- McNulty. Remember that one well. Shame they only wiped the lens clean at half time! And that wrestling move by AB-M was straight out of left field! 1-5 up after 40mins, we can only dream these days…. The bit of juggling skill by Romaine was amazing too, really deserved a goal. Heady times.
