What a surprise we crash out of the cup at the first opportunity.
Something needs to change because Bracknell are not a good side and we're making them look like they play in the division above.
The only winger at the club has been sent out on loan, the players we have aren't good enough to play in the formation that Pennock wants to play and we don't have enough depth.

Not even half hour into the match and you’re slaughtering the team yet again and way too early yet again. You’re a fkin disgrace and you have now gone quiet.
Don’t stain the keyboard and make sure the curtains are shut and mummy is out.
I can’t say exactly what you are coz I will get banned.
Must've missed my post after the game when I said i would take the draw.
We was 2-0 down and by all accounts playing badly, where it could have been more
Why do I get picked up on commenting mid game but others on here don't?
Weird game. Not exactly full of quality but Bracknell were pretty good in the first half and caused problems for our back line almost every time they went forward. They missed a couple of good opportunities at 2-0 and made a huge mistake by inviting us to attack them for the entirety of the second half. Had we not scored - which was dangerously close to happening - it would have been an absolute disaster. But, football throws up these things from time to time which keeps us coming back for more. Massive kudos to Dsane for having the composure to convert the last minute penalty.
The bad - our only ‘foot on the ball’ player is Olopade (and Carruthers), who wasn’t particularly instrumental in the second half. Also, we are still crying out for a leader to get the communication up as there is nowhere near enough on the field.
Still, let’s give them another go on Tuesday and see who Monday’s draw pits the winners against. COYD
What a comeback, that shows some character as it looked like we were crashing out of the competition. Well done to Riley under difficult circumstances, it sounded like Bracknell were not very welcoming.
Rambo has a valid point about pre season games, there are too many games against higher level teams. We have paid a heavy price on the injury front. As for Mr Sw££t, I thought I had seen the last of his posts, I wish he would just follow his own team.
With regards to the pre season friendlies, as far as i recall we've been playing league clubs for many many years now and recently still made it to the NLS play offs virtually every season so i don't think that has anything to do with it. I think it's other reasons.
As for today, our lads certainly know how to put us through every possible football emotion.
The Darts faithful travelled in decent numbers again full of hope for a decent cup run but at HT that looked a distant dream. But one thing you have to give our players is they never give up and again managed to grind out another late result, so well done lads.
We started the game quite well and for the first 10-15 mins did ok and had a decent penalty appeal, but around the same time Dan Smith went off injured and from then on they were on top and deserved their HT advantage.
Second half was a total transformation as we played much better and although we left it very late, deserved the draw. A classic "game of two halves"
IMO we are too nice a side and don't stand up for ourselves anywhere near enough, a bit more experience and "footballing know how" in a couple of areas would make a big difference.
Park Life gives an accurate description of the match. It could have been all over by half time, yet we could have scored four in the second half. I do not understand why Smith being replaced had such a dramatic impact on the remainder of the first half. It was Ramsgate away all over again.
I believe that this was the first away game when our opponents collected more cards than we did. I think this is our first 'clean sheet' of the season, but I may have missed one. I think our opponents collected three yellows, one of which was for time wasting.
We need to start playing matches from minute zero rather than after the half-time whistle. Better teams will not let us back into the match in the way that Ramsgate and Bracknell did. We got lucky again tonight. It was very close to being the last kick of the match.
Hard to believe that there was no beer on tap for what may be the biggest crowd of the season, although the late start appeared to have a negative impact on numbers, especially from our own support. The pitch appeaered to be better than the one at Ramsgate, but still not comparible to a decent grass surface.
Looking forward to Tuesday evening. At least we are still in the hat.
If only people on here would stop highlighting Sweets posts. I am now avoiding other posts. I may have to ban others soon.
I tend to read posts that give decent reports. Thanks Parky.
Let's hope we can finish the job on Tuesday.
Showed proper grit and resilience again to win a deserved draw. In truth we were the better team in the first half until Dan Smith limped off and from that point they got a foothold and dominated the rest of the half. Different story second half and, whilst we left it late, we were the most likeliest of the two teams to score. Onto Tuesday night when, hopefully, we must get the job done.
Stinking awful weather and big respect to the numbers that travelled and made themselves loud and proud.
MoM for me was Denzelle - big and strong in the second half and scored our important first goal. Eddie a close second - lively all game. Must start more games please.
So glad James walked through that turnstile. I went past it four times and was so tempted to do it just for my own benefit but hadn’t had enough beer, somewhat due to the bar debacle.
Top highlights and commentary - especially after seeing Ramsgate’s
Our whole game looked better in the second half. If we can play more like that tomorrow then we’ll be okay.
I’ve been fairly critical of Sam Smith recently (I know I’m not the only one) and there were still defensive errors in the first half, but he looks positive going forward. Makes me wonder if he’d be better suited as a midfielder at this level
