Re: Ady Signs New Contract & Player Updates
I agree with Rambo in as much as I think we definately need another solid Midfielder. It's okay having the likes of Samir and Denzelle but Samir was playing 'bit parts' towards the end of the season what with injuries and 45 minute cameos.
Denzelle however was the most improved player over the season and in the end we really couldn't do without him. An excellent and exciting player.
So yes, for me we need that quality player in there to compliment our midfield.

This is no offence to Jez and Joseph who are in the squad for a good reason.

Sounds an interesting player & another midfielder which is what we’ve been asking for.
Let’s hope a winger will be next and possibly a back up keeper.
Welcome to DFC Sammie.

Re: Ady Signs New Contract & Player Updates
Would be nice to have interviews done with new players so fans see a little about them when they join, Chatham and many others at our level do it maybe the club could look to do something similar?
Would just make us that little bit more fan friendly and professional looking. Happy with the signings so far would even say excited so with a few interviews thrown in would give us a better understanding of what the new players are all about

Chris Palmer usually interviews players but it’s ’close-season’ for him, I believe, and he’s away at the moment. I’m sure he’ll get around to it as he usually does.Bagdhad Billy wrote: Fri Jun 27, 2025 6:20 pm Would be nice to have interviews done with new players so fans see a little about them when they join, Chatham and many others at our level do it maybe the club could look to do something similar?

How about Luke Wannadio? Journey man, third time lucky with the Dartford family.

Already under contract for next season with Dulwich after scoring 20+ goals in each of the last two seasons. Then again, that didn't stop Billericay announcing they'd signed Jack Evans.Lars Resort wrote: Sat Jun 28, 2025 8:33 am How about Luke Wannadio? Academy Player Update
It’s been a busy time of year for the Darts Academy, with some players offered new contracts, others getting the nod to train with the first team and a few, leaving for pastures new.
From this year’s cohort, Jeremiah Pinder and Dean Nayler have signed new contracts, while Joe Kpaka has been retained.
Albie O’Mara-Knapp, who has also just graduated from the Academy, has been asked to train with the first team over pre-season.
Sadly, it’s time to say a fond farewell to Ashdon Day, Blu Husthwaite and Josh Atkinson who have been released by the Club in order to find more game time, with the players either already finding a new club or Dartford FC assisting them in doing so, where possible.
Meanwhile, Richie Atkins and Hugo Taylor – who will be beginning their third-year in September – have been asked to train with the first team during pre-season.
Joining them is Victor Anjorin, who featured for the Whites at the end of the season and will going into the second year of the Academy this September. He has also been asked to train with the first team during pre-season.
All at DFC would like to thank the leavers for all their hard work over the years and wish them the very best for the future.
The Club would also like to congratulate all the other players and hope they take the opportunities presented to them and wish them luck in their hopes of becoming regular fixtures in the first team alongside the likes of George Whitefield, Olly Box and Sam Odaudu, who trod a similar path before them.
