I am a regular home and away supporter and ST holder and bought a ticket online as soon as they went on sale at 6pm on Thursday. I would have struggled to get to the ground to buy a ticket in person as I live an hours drive away from PP (though I’m sure friends would have helped me out).

It is absolutely clear to me that much of the arrangements and protocols the Club have worked to have been imposed by the League and the Police, and outside of our control. This is no normal game that will require scrupulous control. To criticise the Club in the manner that some have on this thread is wrong. It appears that DFC have done everything in their control. I do sympathise with those that may not have managed to get a ticket (probably at the expense of casual supporters) but am pleased to hear that STH’s have been catered for.

Let’s not criticise the club. This past couple of days must have been hell for all concerned. Let’s make Monday a day to celebrate.

As said Rick, my phone was playing up and still is. (It's an old one). I've still got to get in the ground with it.
But at least I got one thanks from a little prompt from Steve and yourself.
As far as the game is concerned, Dover are on a roll and it's not going to be an easy game. Especially if we defend like we did Wednesday.
Hopefully, we have it in the tank to get promotion.
We have excelled this season and have already done far better than we thought possible at the start of the season. Our shoddy performance down at Dover. Then a win at ours to even things up. It's going to be lively.

To be clear, the club has access to the system and can see who bought tickets online. They know who has tickets and who doesn't and they have tried to contact every season ticket holders without a ticket and have made every effort to ensure nobody misses out. There were one or two cases where people haven't responded to voicemails but you can't expect the club to go round everyone's house. We might not get everything right at our club but I honestly don't think we're at fault here. Let's face it, if the league hadn't stuck their oar in there wouldn't have been any problems.

Yep. The rules were clear from the outset. Whoever finishes higher, hosts the final. The league should have kept their noses out of it all and let Dartford FC deal with another high profile home game. Just like they have done so many times in the past. So much so that we could be regarded as experts in the field. There would have been no faff and no cause for concern and the whole shebang would have been seamless and rather unnoticed. We need to get out of this pub league.

Car park closed to the public. Some of us drive and is the most convenient way to get there, probably many I do imagine. While this is not the scale of the ticket fiasco it’s still fans coming last again and a fkin joke.

I wonder if it’s to do with Dover fans entering the ground that end and the possibility of fans clashing etc before or after the game?

Seems odd otherwise to close the car park for a capacity crowd maybe on police advice 🤷‍♂️

CAR PARKING (From Google)

On Bank Holiday Monday, May 5, 2025, parking in Dartford town centre will be free in all Dartford Borough Council-operated car parks. This includes Prospect Place Retail Park, where parking is generally free on Sundays and bank holidays. Dartford Borough Council also provides free parking daily between 8 pm and 8 am, with the exception of Westgate Surface Car Park, which has a £1 night charge.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
Free Parking: All council-operated car parks in Dartford will be free on the Early May Bank Holiday Monday.

"This includes Acacia Hall Car Park with access to the ground via Darenth Road".

When I gain “old fart” status (unless already there), I’m definitely going to leave my blazer at home in case you’re lurking around the corner M1!

Thanks mate this fire help.

Tbf i live in town and I do know all this but I’m working this morning so unsure of my arrival and it could be tight or I’d get a lift from my better half or got a space mega early. I’ll have to just search when I’m there.
