I think someone already made this point earlier but its very much the case; This league isnt used to two teams who can actually sell out a play off final with seemingly such ease. Big culture shock for us to be here in the first place considering recent times but even more so for the league who seemingly just saw £ signs

Matt, I think the original capacity was set at 4063. Since then we now allow people to stand on the walkway barrier around the terracing. That probably adds 500 minimum to capacity so the club could give access to those season ticket holders without a ticket, if it so desired, without impacting safety. It will take a bit of organising but it is possible.

If not, take their name and arrange access via the reception entrance on match day. Can’t be more than 50-100 season ticket holders that potentially missed out. Stuff the Isrhmian league, it will take a bit of effort from the club but just do it.

Totally agree - out of interest, in the other finals (southern league central and southern plus northern) does anyone know if the respective league took charge of ticketing or did they leave it to the clubs ?

What’s happened is embarrassing 😳

Don’t put yourself out Jonty but let me know if you hear anything genuine
Morning Rambo, Pete Sampson has a spare ticket for you. He can either send it to me and we can meet before the game or he can send you a PM with the details. Let us both know how you want to play it.

Contacting season ticket holders to see whether they have indeed been able to get a ticket for the match would be the honourable thing to do and hardly arduous. I won’t however be expecting any contact from the club. Extremely disappointed in this absolute shambles of a club I’ve supported for so many years

Season ticket holders also receive a DFCSA Membership Card, which provides priority access to all ticket matches and reduced Away Travel.
Did the league not take DFC's protocol and priority window into account?

Hi Jonty I really appreciate your help here. I have now spoken to Pete and he has kindly sent me the email with the QR code for the ticket. We also had a nice chat. You are both gentlemen
Thank you very much.

That is good news Rambo, glad to assist. I'm sure there are many in the same situation as you were. In fact, I had to ask my nephew to pop up to the ground to get my tickets, which turned out to be a good call.

I think there needs to be a separate thread on spare tickets as I know that some people did get an additional ticket or two. At least if it on here and not Facebook it should be genuine. Maybe Rick can make a call on this subject.

Not sure this is correct. Being a season ticket holder does not automatically make you a DFCSA member. At least it didnt with me. Two separate entities I believe. DFCSA membership does give you cheaper away travel, arranged through DFCSA and discount at the club shop. But I can’t recall anywhere it saying it prioritises all ticket games. I could be wrong.

Yes, me too. It seems they DID hold some back for season ticket holders so well done DFC for fixing the mess that the Isthmian league created.

Might as well leave it in here as it's to do with the match.
If you feel you need to create another thread, then by all means do it :D

I bought a ticket just after 6pm on Thursday with no intention of going and I saw Ozymandias was going to lose out, so I gave my ticket to him for free (using the share ticket option) - after he finally saw my PM helped by two prompts from Park Life

Big well done to the club, I’m not a season ticket holder and I have a ticket but this is the right thing to do.

Well I take it all back. Well done to the club, ticket now available for season ticket holders. Really didn’t think it would happen so gone up immensely in my estimation.
