Well done to Pennock for telling the players we needed to win the game....oh wait he didn't Samir had to ask us in the 92nd minute.

Absolutely criminal .management today
Are you there ? 🤬

I was there and can confirm this was the case. Samir was asking the fans what the other scores were. That’s criminal imo.

How can you state that ??

Game management killed us today.
Would have liked to of seen us go for it and keep Olly on with Eddie replacing a defender.
Micheal has been a red card waiting to happen all season.
Needing one team to slip next week is one thing, needing both is a stretch.
Feels like a defeat.

Surely the players knew before the game started that they had to win the game,
We drew but we hit crossbar and had one cleared off the line so it was not for a lack of trying.

Not sure how you can say another season in this league as if we don’t win the league we are in the playoffs.
You’re just proving you’re not a Dartford supporter and if you are I’m sure the club is better off without you with constant negative comments.

Well done to all those who went today, not far to go but I'm guessing it was a majority of darts fans there. All three teams will be under pressure for the last game. Everything is still on the table, not in our hands but so be it. Coyds

We hit the crossbar twice once the message had been communicated we had to score. Far too late.

We had no creativity today, constant long balls straight down the middle to Bonner.

Our playoff record is magnificent yeah let's be positive!!

Thrown it away.

That won't do anything. This fella is UpTheDarts and BlackAndWhiteArmy reincarnated. Unless we start verifying every user on this forum, he'll come back under something else. Just gotta ignore him

Then we verify. It’s easy to do. But bin him now and take no new members until next season.

I was there yes
How would I know Samir asked us the score

I saw him do this, what’s wrong with Samir asking the crowd. If he knew you he’d probably tell you to FO anyway. This was 20ft to my right. It’s a shame I didn’t realise it was you. You’re winding people up when emotions are through the roof.
It’s a good thing I didn’t know that was you.
I would have definitely come over and discussed this with you.
Take that as you like I really don’t care.

Not the result we wanted but we get behind the team again on Saturday. What will be will be. If we're in the playoffs we are capable of winning them. It's been a great turnaround as how many of us were doubting the manager a couple months in. If we don't win the league it's not because of some results at the end. It's a 42 game season. If we're the best over 42 games we find out Saturday

Feel mortified after coming so close to getting a winner and so close to the title however as much as I try to be positive it feels like we will be in the play off lottery once again this season.

Great turn out for the Darts in what was a record crowd for Cray? Not going to get upset by MS posts as it’s just par the course.

Onwards and hopefully upwards

So Billericay top on 84 (+39); Horsham 2nd on 84 (+38) and Dartford 3rd on 84 (+31). Obviously not winning today has swung the odds hugely in favour of the top two, but due to goal difference, anything other than a win on Saturday would have been useless anyway. It’s football and when we lost at Lewes a month ago ‘Ricay & Horsham both lost too, no one saw that coming. Stranger things have happened. If we fail to beat Carshalton at home in five days time, we will have not deserved to win the title.
Feel like the effort was decent today and the game had a bit about it, sadly Flamingo Park is not a good place for four-figure crowds. No elevation and hardly any cover means that views are heavily compromised and atmosphere is very difficult to conjure. Would be ok for an evening game with 400 crowd but the ground feels like a bit of a rush job sadly.

Not sure where to start today. Firstly, although we did not play tremendously well, the players gave it everything. I have no idea how much different the plastic surface makes other than the ball appears to bounce a huge amount. Still, the same for both teams. When we kept it on the carpet, we were by far the better team, even when down to ten. Unfortunately, the ball spent most of the game in the air and our front line spent most of the game being held by 5 and 6. They grappled almost as much as Folkestone. Usual action from the ref, absolutely none!

I know Michael walks a tightrope at times, but thought the red card harsh. I felt the ref had an element of selective blindness today and it did not work in our favour.

Not sure what happened on the pitch at the end of the match. I assume a Cray player said something to elicit a reaction.

Great that our players refused to give up on the game. They worked so hard when down to ten men and created three good chances, at least one of which should have hit the net. It was just not to be our day.

The pressure is on the other two teams now. Not only do they have to win, but they have to win convincingly. The league could be decided on goal difference. If only one goal ahead, they may feel the need to push on for another and may be caught on the break. It is to our benefit that there is just one goal between them. The fat lady may have cleared her throat, but this ain't over yet.

I wish that I could be there on Saturday to urge the players on. We must not give up on this. Stranger things have happened and we have to give ourselves the best chance to benefit from any slip by our opponents. Whilst I want us to win the league next week, second is definitely better than finishing third to give home advantage in the playoffs. We must focus on beating Carshalton and be ready to go again in the playoffs if necessary.

Come on you Darts.

Even Sweet's first post has us in this league next season. Not even ' there's still the play offs '. No, it comes straight out with that remark.
If this idiot is a Dartford supporter then I'm a f**king Swede.

The players gave it absolutely everything out there today, their reaction after the game says everything and I feel gutted for them. It's not all doom and gloom, we still have a very good chance of promotion either through the play-off or as champions. All we can now do is get behind them as we have been doing all season.
