Think we could look to bolster the squad a little in the run in as we must have a few spare pennies from the increased attendances recently to maybe bring in 1-2 which could lift the camp?

We have a few easier fixtures coming up it’s just a shame we didn’t take advantage of our rivals losing…

What would have been the odds on us, Ricky and Horsham losing today ? Could have made a fortune with that bet 🤪

What a shame we couldn't take advantage of the situations going on around us. Top clubs wobbling.
So, really we got off lightly today. It's not over yet.
As Mark will no doubt tell us all soon. Not.

Shipping a few goals lately, Ade needs to sort a few things out. Good that we got back into this one but the game is 90 minutes. Sadly we couldn't get a point to creep closer to a losing Riccay.

I agree that we need a new experienced player and said thiz last week. the young lads have been brilliant buf i feel the pressure of the fabulous run has left them a bit jaded. if thd budget permits one special player may well see us over the line first

i wasnt at the game today so cannot comment

Not sure about new signings.
Wouldn’t mind a new subs board though so that we can sub off other players rather than the same ones each week.

Convinced Mrs. Mike to go yesterday on the strength of Lewes being a top-notch non-league experience. Hmmm.
Glad we arrived as early as we did since it gave us time to visit the King’s Head which was quite nice (not cheap though at £15.45 for a pint + large Sauvignon). Queues at the ground were horrific & the beer was awful. Tried the Pilsner & fruity stuff - yet more unwanted cups (going to have to start bringing these to grounds soon, is that the idea? Like shopping bags?). Wasn’t until we gave up and went onto significantly cheaper bottles that things improved.

Things on the pitch didn’t look good. Agree that there is a laconic slant to our game since the amazing run ended, as though we are too afraid of losing to be bold and play with invention. A reactionary style. But with the top three all losing (incredibly), it’s still very much one of two or possibly three for the title. And who knows, maybe even the French have secured a play-off spot :D

I really don’t know what to make of the past 3 games tbh. Although I do believe Roland may have hit the nail on the head in his post-match interview when he said we lack experience with this sort of run in. We do lack experience all around the park in my opinion BUT we are a fit side and together.

We need to play with more hunger, desire and belief - do that and I believe (see what I did there!?) that we can bloody well win this thing.

Banging head ache last night - only had 3 pints too! Was really looking forward to a Guinness or 3 but none on offer at a ground most there thought was over-priced.

What is worrying me is that our season is stuttering towards the approaching play offs.
Reminiscent of the first season under Dowse, at that time we went into them with not much confidence.
I'm not saying we will go into the play offs with the same attitude should we not get the automatic spot. Far from it. But we do need to go into them on a winning streak.
I'm hoping that Ade sorts out the defensive mistakes and that we do not get into a rut that we find hard to get out of.
Still plenty of time to get a confidence booster from the remaining fixtures.🎯🎯🎯
