Thoroughly entertaining commentary from Will Bass, and o e could feel the atmosphere through the microphone. Made up for not being able to be at the game.
Was always going to be a tough game, and so it proved, so absolutely delighted to keep this run going, and the lads digging deep when required. Well done to all!!

2 goals and a clean sheet. I do like that. More so when the French lose at home and have a player sent off. Jim P must be furious
. But there's still z long way to go but COYD'S.

Showed a lot of character today. Hard fought but deserved win. Sponsors gave MOTM to Olly Box. He was his usually great self but I’m going for Callum. His bollocks were all over the pitch!

Another 3 points secured against a stubborn Hashtag side . First goal was a clear penalty but after giving that the ref must of thought I won’t give them anything else as we should have had 3 pens .
Callum Jones wins and scores Dartford’s penalty v Hashtag
Ollie Box scores Dartford’s 2nd v Hashtag

Need another goal to put some pressure on them as they are putting player's forward.
Jacob's been the last man on occasions, so an early goal second half would be nice.
Callum took the ball well from the pass and deservedly scored from the penalty after being pulled back.
This game is by no means over.
Denied goal scoring opportunity, no attempt to play the ball.
Is that not a red?

Should have been a red all day no attempt to play the ball.KentC wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2025 6:04 pmozymandias wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2025 4:01 pm Certainly Hashtags are no mugs.

Thought it was obvious and he bottled it

We started the game very well and it was no surprise we took a deserved lead.
However Hashtag are a good side and a combination of some wayward passes from us and decent football from them they came back into it and i was pleased we got in at HT 1 nil up.
Second half we got back on top and had four great chances to increase our lead but unfortunately never took them. Hashtag kept plugging away and had a couple of chances themselves but we got the deserved second goal and ran out worthy winners.
Tuesday will be tough against an in form Chichester side who will be fresh having not played today so we need to be at our best again to hopefully continue our great run of form.
MOTM for me between Olly & Callum?

Hashtag were one of the better sides seen at PP. But couldn't hit a barn if they stood inside it.
Having said that I thought Jacob kept us in front at half time.
Our front two are immense and it's easy to give MotM to either. But I'm going for Jacob.

We had to work harder than we ought to have done but the last pass or shot kept going astray. Ref bottled a definite red for the penalty but good performances all over the pitch again - Ollie for pure goalscoring skill, Callum for constant running and determination Hayden for effort and enthusiasm but for me Denzelle gets MoM for pure class.
Onward and upward.

Got bogged down first half with # taking the initiative.
Jacob kept us ahead for half time.
They lost their way with the substitutions. But we still needed Olly's goal to see them off
And what a goal it was.
Well earned win but we deserved it in the end.

A very hard fought win against a decent side.
We started well and deserved the penalty. It was definitely a red and I dont understand why refs at all levels ignore the rules.
Hashtag came at us strong in the first half but as soon as the second half started we got well on top and deserved the second earlier
Olly and Calum worked their socks off and for Hayden Bullas was motm. He got his head to the ball at least six times in dangerous areas winning the ball and starting attacking moves. Very brave player full of life.
Ollly and Sam combined brilliantly fir the second goal which steadied all our nerves
We are a thoroughly good team and Ade and his colleagues take full credit for that

Will think about MOTM and decide tonight, one thing is for sure is there are so many contenders as per all the posts so far we have so many players on form at the moment it’s immense they collectively look like a title winning team although with Horsham and Billericay chasing so close this will go down to the wire this season.

PS great to see a healthy crowd for a second game on the spin, loads of people on social media saying they haven’t been for ages and enjoyed their first visit in a while today and that’s what a winning team will produce an “interest” in peoples local football club. We just need to do enough now to keep them

Really good crowd considering the drab weather.
