We’ve won 13 and drawn 5 of our last eighteen games; nine wins in a row. It’s borderline unbelievable, but every team will be wanting a scalp now. This team has endeared itself to the fans and has a strong identity for the first time in several years.
Our rivals at the top have all slipped recently and what a joy it’s been to see DFC seize the opportunity to go top. Concentration now must be squarely focussed on performing tightly, reading each others’ game and staying injury-free. Hashtag and Chichester are both on good runs too, so the next couple of games will be really tough.

Might have been looking at coming down for this match, but rail services are so unreliable to Euston at the moment, and threats of icy weather, am waiting for spring weather. Would have loved to have seen the Darts In current form, although it is going to be a tough game today against another in form team likely to contain a couple of ex Darts too!

My mate’s boy - Ollie - tends to mimic what a certain player of ours does on match day. Actually, being twelve, his games kick off at 11am so really it’s the other way around - you could say he’s more of a portent. Well, he’s just bagged his second of the day. It’s uncanny how often these two have scored on the same Saturday. If our ‘certain player’ gets a couple in the first half today I might have to get Yvette Fielding involved…

Just about to set off for the 30 mile journey across Kent. As it stands, we are in control of our own destiny and long may that continue. Looking around the league, teams are strengthening for the run in, even Uncle Jim is putting his hand into his pocket. The question for us is, do we need any additions or are we happy that we have the strength in depth to see us through the remainder of the season. Interestingly, Football pages have a predicted table, which makes no sense based on current form. No quite sure how their algorithm works.

I watched this lot at Chatham a few weeks ago. In the first half they were outstanding, some glorious football. They have a left winger who runs as fast as anyone I’ve seen with tons of skill and ability, he was playing on his own at times literally so much I think his team mates got the hump, but boy he was blistering and super dangerous.
Chatham got a red card and Chatham were the better side in a dreadfully boring second.
A tough game today but a much tougher game for them.

We started the game very well and deservedly took the lead.
Hashtag then came back into it and I'm happy to go in 1 up at HT.

Certainly Hashtags are no mugs.
Need another goal to put some pressure on them as they are putting player's forward.
Jacob's been the last man on occasions, so an early goal second half would be nice.
Callum took the ball well from the pass and deservedly scored from the penalty after being pulled back.
This game is by no means over.
