Personally I thought we were a little disappointing in the first half and our central midfield in particular, gave the ball away far too often. We were fortunate that despite Horsham having several banjo swinging opportunities, they repeatedly failed to take the swing and only once did the cow's arse feel any discomfort when Denzelle's error led to Horsham's goal. Fortunately the pain only lasted about 30 seconds before Samir made up for his patchy start with a well taken equaliser. Darts were much improved in the second half and as usual it was Olly "Fox in the" Box who confidently tucked away his one-on-one opportunity with a calm assuredness that belied his relative inexperience. Horsham looked deflated after that and Darts took complete control with Denzelle also coming good in the second half and putting the game to bed with our third goal. I heard a group of Horsham fans talking after the game and their asppraisal was that skill wise there wasn't much between the two teams but that Darts were better organised and significantly fitter than Horsham and I think that's a fair assessment. Our lads don't quit and we do seem to come strong towards the end of games, so a lot of credit must go to Ade for bringing in our fitness coach Neil Withington, who is doing an excellent job. 10 games unbeaten is a serious statement of intent and we are improving all the time.

I don't think it has been mentioned but the best thing about Tuesday nights game was Olly getting rammed into and over the barrier behind the goal by their number 5 (I think)....( he was like Max Whitlock as he rolled the barrier and "bounced" back over onto the pitch).....and then a few minutes later smashed the ball home for the 2nd goal.............Loved it.....real Payback
