Caterham Seven Car
Out of interest, Rennie Rd/Drive in Dartford, where is it? I can't pinpoint it or even remember it.
Living in the Dartford area for the first 45 years of my life I do not know of it.
Apparently the Caterham car company is/has moved there and are doing tours.
Later this month I'm doing a tour of the Morgan car factory in Malvern Links and I'd really like to follow that with a tour in my home town.
May even get to combine it with a home game.

It’s off of Bob Dunn Way near the new Bridge Estate where Littlebrook Power Station was. I used to work at Europa that is on Rennie Road.

Thanks for that people, I take it it's also near the old Joyce Green hospital site.
Re: Caterham Seven Car
Yes you can either access it from the first roundabout by the crossing/new Mercedes roundabout, or next roundabout onto Bridge estate. All depends on the delightful traffic in that area!!

I have just got back from Malvern and while there I did the tour of the Morgan car factory. Fascinating the amount of professional work carried out throughout the whole process.
I'm not really a car buff or a petrol head but I did enjoy the Morgan experience and full intend to go down to the Caterham one also.
I enjoyed it so much that I bought a fridge magnet.
Well the Super 8 did cost £204,000

Caterham is mass production compared with Morgan. Their cars are somewhat cheaper, but are great fun to drive. They take a lot of punishment on the race track. Not to be recommended for a journey of more than one hour as they are not renown for their comfort.

That covers journeys to most of our opponents in the Isthmian Prem. although car sharing might be a bit tight…Grassbank wrote: ↑Mon Jul 01, 2024 10:22 pm Caterham is mass production compared with Morgan.
