To be fair, it's a tall order expecting people to remember everyone who scored against us last year.

It’s probably easier to answer who didn’t score against us last season 🤣.

Hearing that Duane is coming back reminds me of Dowse resigning Alex Wall and Charlie Sheringham, disappointing. Still he might be the 20 goal a season forward we desperately need but I doubt it.

Don’t know about 20 goals but I would take 20mins from him compared to how often the other two played last season!!

New Defender signs

✍️𝐃𝐖𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐍𝐒

We’re pleased to announce the signing of defender Dwight Pascal!

Dwight has had stints with Barnet, Potters Bar and Dulwich before now joining Ady’s squad ahead the new campaign!

Right Back I believe but according to his LinkedIn page can play across the whole back four.

Welcome Dwight.

My Kingstonian mate says he’s one of the worst full backs he’s seen.

But welcome Dwight, hope you prove my mate wrong!

Some on here are saying underwhelmed or similar comments for some of the new additions.
I can see why and I can’t disagree with this but I think it’s really important we trust the manager and give these guys a chance before we pass judgement.

I'm keeping an open mind, this Yong lad never quite made it for Barnet, but obviously Ady is keen so let's give it time, and the players a chance to gel. I'm just happy it's going to be a fresh start, and hopefully a mix of experience of NLS standard and Isthmian Premier players, that want to wear the shirt.

Exactly that Tall Dart, I think nearly everyone wanted a clean sweep of players out and new in to start afresh and that’s basically what’s happened.
We’ve got to trust in Ady and give these players old & new our full backing and go into this season being positive.

Been away with no access to PureDFC so only just seen comments , with ALL NEW signings just wait and see and then after several games maybe form an opinion but dont prejudge and lets get behind ALL of the new lads that I feel sure will give it their ALL this season

No Dart fan has a clue whether these guys will be successful and to doubt at this stage could be a reference point too maybe come back at a later date and claim to be a " smart ar.e! ???

Ade believes in these lads or else he wouldnt have signed them - start believing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe Shomotun didn't quite make it at Barnet either.
At this time we have to go along with Ade at the quality he is bringing in.
I think a few look at some players and say 'he's not NLS quality '. Well, guess what.

Spot on Duke, none of us really knows, and the only certainty is that Ady knows a lot more than we do! Dropping a division has certainly narrowed the net so have to trust that Ady and Roland (with his specific IPL experience) will make the right signings.

There were only two from last season that I'd hoped would re-sign, Box and Coulson, so 50% isn't too bad from my perspective. It must be incredibly difficult to build an entire squad virtually from scratch, but I'm happy to wait and see how the rest of the squad develops 😀

It's good to see a few more comments from people wanting everyone to start with a clean slate. Pre-judging players many of whom we've probably never even seen play, is foolhardy and counter-productive. In any case, some of our very best players have come from humble beginnings or with a troubled past. Ryan Hayes, Dave Martin, Cody McDonald ...

I agree with Dave T, I would have kept only the same 2 of last year's squad and even then, I felt Coulson had massively under achieved on his obvious capability and potential. The fact that last season's squad has been obliterated actually feels like a good thing although I must admit, in my 58 years as a Darts fan, I've never seen a complete rebuild from scratch and that is one hell of a task that Ady has before him. We can do our bit by getting behind the team and helping them with our support. It may be a slow start as the new team comes together and it's important that we remain patient over the first few months in particular. I hope Darts fans will give the new regime a chance as I do believe it will be a much more enjoyable season than the last one. At the very least, I am expecting a better attitude and significantly improved fitness levels. Ady has said all the right things and my confidence is high. I am looking forward to supporting a team whose players care as much as I do.

Of last seasons squad I’m not sure whether any announcements have been made about Joash Nembhard, Sam Oduardo or Jayden Boulton (unless I’ve missed something!) Anyone heard owt?

They have probably joined nearly everyone else and jumped off the ship that they were part of the collective responsible for it sinking.........
