Hopefully can come back and get something out of the game, and an individual mistake doesn't cost us again
Big second half ahead, come on lads!

Barzey just been pushed into the barrier and looked bad. Been subbed for Sheringham.

Second time in 2 matches
After all that happened with Alex Fletcher and the nationwide support he got, you'd think referees would clamp down on this sort of stuff. Something needs to be done.
Re: Weymouth v Dartford Sat 12 Aug 2023
Bradbury now playing right midfield with Manor and Sheringham up front.

I get that Kentc but maybe if the lad had been coming to Everton from Accrington and not the other way round.I could understand it.
Did they drop him off from the Accrington coach while traveling down to Gillingham this morning? Cos it looks like they could do with him.
It's the start of the season and judging by some results around the country teams are still settling in. As we are.
We do look as though we are a team trying different things so not to worry too much. We still have Rooney to come back.

You've been on the sauce Parky, that post threw me.

10 minutes injury time.

Lars all I’m saying is it’s normal to get a player in that you want at your club who then send them out to get valuable experience and keep them fit. I would imagine more than most clubs do this and you generally drop down a level or two not go up. Where they got him from does not change he needs game time and experience if he’s not their NO1 as of yet

Didn't sound great from the Weymouth commentary, I'll await the reports from those at the game.
2 games in is not a time to panic as others have said. It's just very frustrating throwing away 2 points last week and now seemingly continuing our away from from last season which was poor.
Another individual mistake cost us but it sounded like we barely troubled the keeper which was a vast contrast to last week.

Yet another loss away from home in the West Country.... but, you can't blame me this time as I didn't go after the ban Tom Bonner gave me last season!
Re: Weymouth v Dartford Sat 12 Aug 2023
I think first half we edged the game but went behind due to a mistake from the keeper, second half was a non event from both teams, we played to many long balls and never troubled there keeper, hopefully when Rooney is available that will improve the midfield, time for fans to stand with the team.

No need to panic yet, last season we drew with Bath at Home and Lost to Weymouth away and still finished second

First half we were the better team. Strange goal to concede. Speculative cross that the keeper seemed to have dealt with comfortably but ended up catching the ball virtually in his own net seemingly unaware of his position. There was a strong cross wind that might have caught him out but has to go down as a keeper error.
Otherwise we were rarely troubled and had much the greater possession without creating many openings.
Second half saw the injury to Barzey and the resulting changes in personnel was pretty ineffective.
The new on loan defender had a decent game, but overall we were second best after the break and Weymouth deserved the win without looking anything special themselves.
