Re: Dartford v Aveley Sat 17 Jan 2026

Great result for us today. Couldn’t see how Aveley had such a good away record to begin with after their performance today

Re: Dartford v Aveley Sat 17 Jan 2026

I was told by someone recently that Aveley are actually unbeaten away in the league this season and just looked and it appears that person was correct. Not that any game at the moment is an easy one but that only makes it more difficult

Re: Hashtag Utd v Dartford Fri 9 Jan 2026

I personally really dislike the new play off system they've pushed into the national leagues and now seemingly we are going to adopt. It just rewards being mediocre and giving a team who finished in 7th PLACE a chance for promotion. Thats not right. Its all about the leagues getting more income and ...

Re: Hashtag Utd v Dartford Fri 9 Jan 2026

I wasnt there tonight so I cant comment on the match but what I will say is that I dont think we deserve nor look like we will be in the play offs this season. Even when we win a game it looks lucky and we hold on for dear life like Chatham. We caught them cold and we hung on for 80 minutes. We ...

Re: Dartford v Folkestone Invicta Sat 13 Dec 2025

Personally I'm disappointed we lost. Didn't think we would win it but I'm disappointed with Folkestone. I thought they were poor, well organised, yes, but on a good day we'd have beaten them.
But this wasn't particularly a 'good day' for us. We were the better side for the first quarter of an ...

Re: Isthmian Premier League News

I’ve seen Welling has been abandoned before kick off? Bit of a weird statement as to why. Seems to involve the supporters and new manager

Re: Cray Valley Paper Mills v Dartford Sat 22 Nov 2025

We had a lot of players missing and the weather was a massive factor in today’s game. Cray really didn’t look great and it was Carruthers who played them a great ball for an assist. 2 points dropped but under the circumstances, it could have been worse

Re: Dartford v Wingate & Finchley Sat 8 Nov 2025

Just an overall poor performance from us today. We were never really at the races other than maybe a 10 minute spell in the second half with the offside goal and the goal we scored. Too many players looked off it today from the very start but we were never going to go unbeaten the rest of the season ...

Re: Dartford v Potters Bar Town Sat 18 Oct 2025

I think we looked really good today and it was great win in the end with other results sorting us too. I think Potters Bar are one of the poorest teams I've seen so far (I actually thought their Number 9 was a good hold up striker though) and their only goal came from potentially a foul and some ...

Re: Brentwood Town v Dartford Sat 11 Oct 2025

We easily deserved the point and should have been 1-0 at half time. I’ve been very critical of Henly but what an amazing save it was from the free kick, only for him 40 seconds later to be rooted too his line for us to concede the goal. The new lads look like they’ll need some time to fit in and we ...

Re: FA Trophy 3rd Qualifying Round - Hadley FC v Dartford - Sat 4 Oct 2025

“Tinpot” is a much overrused term imho, and I can be just as guilty as the rest (though I use it more to describe Clubs, not Leagues). Dartfordhero, I do get what you’re saying, believe me (though there was no need to be so aggressive towards me!)

Truth is, as hard as it may be to take, we are ...

Re: FA Trophy 3rd Qualifying Round - Hadley FC v Dartford - Sat 4 Oct 2025

It's hardly a tin pot league. The top 5 or 6 are putting money into the clubs which we are not keeping up with.
But we have a team that finished 3rd last season and were 90 minutes from promotion.
When most of that squad put pen to paper in the summer that told me they wanted to carry on with ...

Re: FA Trophy 3rd Qualifying Round - Hadley FC v Dartford - Sat 4 Oct 2025

We are in a tinpot league that we should never have dropped into and we’ve had nothing but constant failures since. We need to act now before we end up dropping out of this league

Re: Dartford v Burgess Hill Town Tue 30 Sep 2025

The comment of being in this league is a failure is absolutely right. We should never have been here in the first place considering we was a nailed on Conference South play off contender year in and year out, now suddenly we can’t beat Burgess Hill at home? Shocking mentality. I saw enough of Henly ...
