Re: Player news
So not sure how the club feel "Luke has been a brilliant player for the club over the past 5 years"..... not in my opinion. Quite right. Turned in a handful of decent appearances but never chained any sort of consistency together due to all his time out injured and did NOT own a pair of s...

Re: Dartford Players of The Past
Shomotun clearly has talent, but needs to learn when to release. Far too many times he was unloaded by the opposing full back after some great footwork. You want your winger to take on their man, but taking on three is something most good footballers grow out of.

Well happy with the return of Carruthers. Might be a few on here who aren’t, but he’s a quality player - well above IPL standard.
Holding out hope for a blend of youth and experience starting here.

I tore my ACL at the age of 27 and never played again. Didn’t actually have it diagnosed for about two years following an arthroscopy (keyhole surgery), but it didn’t stop me going to work. Not quite as physically a demanding job as scaffolding, but do build the occasional scaffold tower so not a mi...

Re: Isthmian Premier League News
It takes me back to the last season in the Isthmian Premier Division - I think our away record was 18 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss..... But then again my memory isn't what it used to be. How about last game of the season away to Bognor? Incredible away record that year. We only lost to Tooting (I’m sur...

Re: Isthmian Premier League News
I said in an earlier post the Isthmian premier might be the kick up the arse Dartford FC needs on and off the field of play. It’s amazing to think we will be playing Cray Valley next season, how long ago was it we were playing (beating) Luton and Wrexham. Very true. Same Luton will have felt and Ye...

Jack Jebb… fairly decent for us under King but didn’t look much out of place in a poor H&W side last month.

Re: Player news
Disappointed but not surprised by Coulson’s departure. He was a massive coup for DFC, arriving as one of the best players in the National premier. It’s a real shame it ended this way. Along with Olly Box, Baris Altintop, Ronny Nelson and one of the goalkeepers, either Sandford or Byrne we had a few ...

Re: Irving takes inspiration 26/04/2024
An incident at the Truro game summed up this attitude perfectly, when some foolish plonker amongst a large group of youngsters threw a screwed up piece of paper onto the pitch and the steward reacted by saying if he found out who did it, he would "throw the whole lot of them out". Now apa...
