I didn't know Dave to talk to but I had seen him around various grounds throughout. Obviously a very popular man.

Strange that in early April with automatic promotion in sight and a long run of 21 games unbeaten, Ade Pennock could probably walk on water.

Went to see Faversham play Margate last night. Tommy Wray had a steady game and Ronnie Vint played at the back. First half Margate stood up to a lot of early pressure and with Ben Greenhalgh still a handful going forward the first half was pretty entertaining.

I see that Faversham have earned an away game at Ebbsfleet in the next round of the FA Cup after putting out Maidenhead in the previous round.
Can't see them repeating a cup killing but they did get more than us from their exploits.

I thought the disallowed goal looked good to me and how Eddie's shot against the bar didn't go in!!!

Of course they do Kentc, I get that. But those four alone had a big effect on yesterdays game IMO.

On an optimistic note. Yesterday we had Dan, Sam, Sammy and Michael out through injury, we've had suspensions. I felt that with those four back we would maybe have won that game. A bit disappointing but looking at the team last night, 7 academy players, 4 of which have established themselves in the starting team on a regular basis. Not bad going from Ade as those four wouldn't get a look in from previous managers.
