I'm loving this ride and I dont and will never want to get off. I hope that DFC realise just what we are in the midst off. This is not just a run we are in. This is the real deal. Steve King and Craig Belgrave are the best we can get. I thank the club for employing them. I also ask the board to take that extra step to keep them and therefore take DFC further, I truly believe that we can go as far as TB DS and SI and all the board truly want. It's possible that we may be in the national league shortly, and if not maybe a season later. But I sincerely believe this guy ticks every box, let's not let this slip please board members please. This is a chance that we may never see or realise again.

Wealdstone are a very well organised team and we can see why they are top of this league, and the way the Darts matched them man for man all over the pitch is testament to SK and his backroom staff and how much he has improved this squad in such a short time. The game itself wasn’t by any means a classic, it will be best known as The Tale of Two Defences, in which neither gave an inch? Tom and Josh were excellent , Husin had a good game alongside Hyde and Wynter , but I didn’t think we posed much danger to them until Luke come on, and his direct approach had them worried to the extent that he took that clattering towards the end when almost through, resulting in what some say as “taking one for the team” and to be honest, we would of all been singing Lee Noble’s* praises if he had done something similar in the closing minutes of a game with the scores level? Can’t grumble about the penalty decision, just glad he missed, but in the end a draw is never a bad result against the league leaders.

That was a very hard-earned point indeed. Looking at the sides SK has put out this season, only Jacob Berkeley-Agyepong and Liam Gordan would have improved the team overall. Looking forward to the next game already.

Ah, Jacob. What an excellent player he was for us. When we get promoted we could maybe lure him away from Aldershot.
Noor played two excellent passes with the outside of his foot in the first half that had us through on goal, but couldn't fault the Wealdstone defense on both occasions.
If Wealdstone do go up I hope they do well but with the calibre of teams up there already it's getting tougher for promoted teams to stay up.

Thought we we just about on top for most of Saturday’s game, but Wealdstone had more clear cut chances. I was trusting Luke to put it away in the last minute but agree that we wouldn’t have been complaining if it was the other way around!
As much as I hate to say it, I don’t agree as some are saying that we’re favourites for the playoffs... yet.
Given some of the long away trips we’d be facing, we’d have a challenge winning three on the trot, even with our current form. 10 games left to close down that 8-10 point gap on the teams above so we can at least get a home quarter final. Definitely doable with Bath and Weymouth at home still to come!
