As far as i'm aware Joe Healey only signed on to help us out in emergencies and was never going to be a regular so no problem as far as i'm concerned, i'm grateful for his help.
The three games which people are referring to which Charlie missed i believe were for the following reasons, the first was work related which the management knew about when he signed late August, the second was when he asked for permission for an overseas trip midweek as we didn't have a game and then the Torquay game was re-arranged, the last was against Wealdstone as he was unfit. So whilst not ideal i don't really think it is a case of picking and choosing games, i might be misinformed but that is what i'm led to believe.
As for Bradders, well as far as i'm concerned it is not even a discussion. What the man has done for the club and is still doing makes him an absolute legend. Trust me, this season more than ever before he is putting the clubs interests before his own. Arguably the best player and person to ever play for the club.

I agree with Park Life. There's a first. Forums are great for entertainment, however for fact communication face to human face is better. If anyone has any doubt whatsoever from any angle then rather from typing go and speak to the Gentleman both running and representing the club. Personally over the time when they took over The responsibility of out great club I think they have done ok !!! Don't you. Therefore i am totally behind them and will always be.

Jonty you have said your statement twice now about removing Jamie. Explain more please in a polite way. Mikey you liked. I ask you both now to go public and explain why you both do not want Jamie Coyle as a manager of the club. I will tell You now from my angle that these two blokes are brilliant. And for anyone coming on now and saying Arthur you say the same old same old then yes I am because they are great. So the floor is both open to Jonty to go public and say why you wish Jamie Coyle to be removed for Adam with Skip to be his number 2 and Mikey you agree. I tell you where I am with this I think they are doing a brilliant job and I WILL support the board come hell or high water as they ARE DFC

Trying to get some slumber but agitated. Was it Mick who said he cannot understand why some posters are positive and was it blind or something. I do because I know when im right and i know when im wrong. Some people come online comparing our signings etc with welling last season etc etc. (This is nothing more than people behind a keyboard making silly judgements about JC) He is both intelligent and also backed by the board totally with Adam to maintain this great clubs standing in football. As for JC He was dealing with a loaded gun at PVR and i will go on record if anyone wants to ask me some facts about how he was up against it there then please do so as there are many facts that people do not or do not want to understand

Let's not forget, Bradders was all set to leave at the end of last season because he knew he would have to miss a few games and it was our club that pleaded with him to stay. If anyone wants to argue about that decision then the time to do so would have been back then, when the decision was made. At the time, I was not aware of one single person who wasn't happy to get him back on those terms as opposed to not signing him at all. If he offered to stand down again now then I believe the supporters would still feel the same.
As far as I'm concerned, Bradders is a living DFC legend and his conduct at this club has always been impeccable. He is arguably the greatest and most successful player ever to wear a Dartford shirt and I think it's a bit unfair for anyone to complain about an arrangement that was entirely our club's idea.

Jonty; you make some valid points that have been mentioned numerous times on this forum, and I think some fans would probably agree with you (except Arthur of course?)

but personally I think it is a little unfair to say that Bradders picks and chooses his games ?
To the match itself, I think we missed the opportunity to win this game? With twenty minutes to go and playing against ten men, we bring Haysie on and take Sheringham off?? Probably the best crosser of the ball coming on, and one of our main threats in the air going off? I know Sheringham wasn’t having a great game, but I feel this was not the right decision to make?
But Heh!! What do I know? Only my opinion…..
Hi Capricorn25, looking back on my comments, I have to say that was a poorly worded statement, which was not meant to cause offence to anyone on here. Even this morning I am still very annoyed with the team selection from Saturday. Bradders, is indeed a club legend, along with Nobes and Ryan. I really thought his Dartford career was going to fizzle out earlier in the season when Wynter was preferred in midfield and I was the first on here to question the managers decision on this subject. Since his rightful return we have seen the team improve as a result and I was aware that he is on a pay as you play basis. However, with Healy, I was fully expecting him to be on the bench as a bare minimum as we were down to the barebones.
As for Sheringham going off, I would have to agree with you on that as well. Again, we didn't have any real options on the bench, which is another topic for discussion. I'm just sick of the turnover of players and until this stops the club will forever be in a constant state of flux.

Like several recent posters I have been surprised to hear repeated criticism of players missing games. We have known since Elliot was urged to change his plans to retire that he would be unavailable for games and training on occasions. I believe that Charlie was also signed with the club aware that he would be absent on occasions. Joe Healey only agreed to help out when we were short of players and it has been said by one of the managers that he may not play again. Criticism of Elliot is especially regrettable: there have been few more dedicated and professional players since I began watching DFC in 1961.

At one point I wondered where the referee had got to until he stepped out from behind Lee Noble. I too would have voted for Lee but I get bored with the same old same old.
I do like these supporters that voice their opinion at the ground. On the way out after the game a chap was obviously voicing his opinion to all that was walking toward him. Apparently, 'two don't work', he was I presume, referring to our joint managers, that or the lack of turnstiles open on the way in before the game. (That spooks me also, as it was Wilkie, bless him. I never look at his eyes.
Anyway, I digress. What is it with supporters that feel they have to tell all and sundry instead of going round and having a chat with those he's berating.
There's also a lad, well, he's younger than me, stands behind me. He know's how they should be playing, and what they should be doing. These two should get together and sort it all out for everyone else. I don't mind them having an opinion, just don't share it with everyone else. Especially me.
