He went to hold his head in his hands immediately after, but thought better of it. He'd have dropped it.
3 points is 3 points. I'd take that all day. After all, Deren could have been out in wherever it was in goal for Gibraltar.

Despite the best efforts of the M4, we got to see most of this game and I'm really glad we didn't give up and go home. This was a massive step in the right direction, so much better than recent games. The lads really put in a shift and worked hard for this result. True, our winning goal was a bit freakish, but I'm a great believer that if you work hard and fight for everything as a team, then the breaks will fall your way. Jamie and Charlie look like a proper partnership up front, one that may actually produce goals. I was very impressed with Jamie yesterday and he gets my vote for MOTM.

We witnessed that other goal from our keeper, to extend the History book further, Home and Away. Without blowing the trumpet yet, better effort being rewarded with 3 points & our captain led the final applause on the pitch, not needing to apologise on the supporters' coach this time.
On to a Dulwich Hamlet double header from Tuesday's u18 FACup & next Saturday's chance to improve our league position.

We won! And away! Need to build on that and put a run together, please.
