I have to agree about coker.
Hayes caused the Concord thugs more problems
in the last 15 minutes than Coker did in 75 minutes.
Too lightweight and headless chicken come to.mind.
Concord are not bad going forward but why do.they insist
on.their spoiling and negative tactics.
I certainly would not want to watch their antics too often!

The problem was the same at Chelmsford our inability to finish off the opposition with a second goal. A good goal by Ben courtesy of Nobes started us off well, Concord are members of the awkward squad but they have got some decent players I wonder how they can afford them at that shitehole. Whenever you see that little shaven headed Referee you know its going to be chaos and he very rarely disappoints, mind you he did try to help us out by starting the second half without the Concord goalkeeper. I don't think in the fifty years I've watched Dartford I've seen a Referee fail to make sure both Goalkeepers were on the pitch.

Spike said: "There's no law that says you have to have a goalkeeper …………………….."
Actually Spike there is.
"The Laws mandate that one player on the team must be designated as the goalkeeper at all times".
So I guess the ref was right to stop the game and to restart it was probably the best option.

I was really looking forward to this game and expected a lot from two teams that are in the top eight. Biggest non event this season.
I get that Concord were probably one of the worst teams I've seen at PP this season BUT, even I was expecting them to pop up with a goal right until the end.
Referee was poor without going into the debate on a non existent goalkeeper, but you have to admit, even Concord were unaware of his absence.
Haysie should never have been booked as he made clean contact with the ball to put it out but then even he didn't contest it, so maybe I missed something even from ten feet away.
Coker is lightweight and Dan Darbyshire should be dragged back from wherever he's been sent to. Andre is all arms and legs unfortunately for us and the penalty decision. Noble and Bradders did okay and the back four was solid, which is what I wanted, but it seemed to all get lost from there on. Roberts was the only front runner we had as I think that Charlie needs to buck his idea's up. Felt that Kudus would have shaken the Concord defence up more, but seeing as he was only given 7 minutes, well
I went for Wynter for my MOTM. Best of a poor performance.

To be honest I thought we missed the Crooks factor.

Did anyone find out why Billy Crook missed the match?

I would add that as well as Darbyshire, Tom Murphy (also out on loan) has got to be a far better option than Coker.

In response to TFW's query I understand that Billy C was unavailable through injury - picked up a knock last Tuesday.

I was really looking forward to this game, right up to the point when I saw the team sheet. As soon as I clapped my eyes on it soon had my blood boiling and do't even get me started on the return of Sam-Yorke on the bench. What is he still doing at the club, he is about as much use as farting into a hurricane. I guess nobody else wants him and he is quite happy just picking up his wages. As an inventory manager, he is just dead stock with money tied up in merchandise sitting on the shelf.
There is no consistency with the team selection/availability, every game there is at least 3 or 4 changes for whatever reason. It appears that we are mirroring the same as Welling's season last year and I can only put this down to one of our manager's revolving door policy of signing loan player's and old mates! All the time we have this type of setup we will be forever be stuck in a loop and my head tells me that one of them has to go before we start another season. Personally. I would keep Flan and bring back Skip as his number two, there is no other logical reason to keep this revolving door policy going. At some point it has to end before both are shown the door, let's face it, we are just an above average for this level but the frustrating thing is, we have the players, especially the new midfielders but it would seem that the availability of one of them is very limited. Braddders, Sheringham and now Healy seem to pick and choose what games they are available for and for me this is very unprofessional.
As for the game, it was a non-event, spoilt by one of our players doing a star jump, that is 2 games running he has cost us points and if Ryan had done the same he would get slaughtered by a few on here. My other gripe is about Ben's floaty set pieces, they are too predictable and easy to deal with from a defensive perspective. If Ryan is playing he has to take all the corners & free kicks but the chance one of our managers giving him game time is bordering on incompetence. It is quite clear that he is not fancied by one of them and as a result hurting our league position. As for MoM, I couldn't decide and ended going with Bradders, who looked frustrated with a couple of team mates in the middle of the park! Ideally, we need a fit Crook and Healy if we are to mount a sustained challenge for the playoffs. They have the skill set to unlock defenses as well as bang in goals as well.
