much more fight and great to see lee noble back and firing. Actually two points up on equivalent fixtures from last season strangely! Shame to hear some idiots chanting let him die when lee burns was down. Short memories in football sadly.

We played with more heart and effort and of course Lee Noble makes a big difference to our team. We rode our luck a bit but bearing in mind we have had no luck in our previous few games we deserved some today. I thought Lee Burns played really well for them and I'm sorry to hear he was not given the respect he deserves by some of our immature younger fans.

Phew! That was a BIG relief. I've only seen one match since the win over Chelmo, but judging by the forum reactions to the intervening performances, it was good to see the team as a whole battling with more effort and conviction today. It may well have been due to Bradders' and Nobes' driving force, or a bullet up the bum from Adam&Jamie; but the pivotal moment was Deren's penalty save. If we'd gone in at 1-1 at half-time after dominating the 1st 45 minutes, who knows how the team would have reacted in the 2nd half.

A much better performance today than what we got on Saturday although it wasn’t great, still a win is a win and it’s 3 very much needed points. There was a lot more fight & spirit about the players today & you could see that some had the hunger which is great. The midfield looked a lot stronger & sharper with Nobes and Bradders in the middle and Elliott seemed happier, stronger and more settled with Nobes back alongside him.

I don’t know if it’s just me but I really can’t see what Tom Murphy is bringing to the team at the moment, surely we must have a better midfielder / winger than him.

Another very good game for Ben and a well taken goal to boot and Deren did well in goal with the penalty save to keep a clean sheet and keep us 1-0 up at HT.

Jamie Philpott had a better game today and tried although he kept going out wide leaving Kudos in the middle, hopefully his ankle injury isn’t to bad.

Elliott got my vote today.

Good to see Burnsy & Danny Harris today even if they was on the opposite side, they still acknowledged the Darts fans before, during & after the game and I’m sure they appreciated the darts fans singing their names. Just a pity a few idiotic kids had to sing let him die when Burnsy was injured in the 50/50 challenge with Kudos.
