Thoroughly enjoyed that game and I doubt you'll see a better goal this season. I felt Darts bossed the first half and could have been further in front at the break. We took our foot off the gas a bit in the second half but still ran out worthy winners. Another good team performance and a few contenders for MOTM, but I went for Ben Greenhalgh, narrowly ahead of Bradders. There's a really good feel about the club now and you have to give massive credit to Jamie and Adam for the incredible progress that's been made since the start of the season. I was one of the doubters, but I'm happy to be stuffing my face with humble pie as there's no denying they have given us a good side, a very good side, and we are definitely in with a shout for promotion. Following on from the legend that was Tony Burman, that in itself is more than anyone could have asked for.
Can't wait for next week's game at Torquay. It will be tough with so many absentees, but the good news is that Phil Roberts only came off as a precautionary measure, because his hamstring "felt a bit tight," so he should be okay. We have enough quality to go there with a fighting chance and I will be there to cheer the lads on.

Yes, the improvement since the start of the season is obvious.
We have a chance of play offs and promotion which didn't look possible back in September.

I thought the victory was a tad laboured and felt we needed the second to finish them off. Gloucester weren't great, their attack was dire, but the way we were messing about at times I wouldn't have been surprised had they equalised.
I don't know where Joe has been but he did a good job in the middle for us along with Bradders. Ben had a good game as did Darren and the 'goal' from where I was standing looked much better than KST's view. But it probably looked good from anywhere. Their keeper had a fine game but no keeper would have stopped that, and the other being a penalty I felt he as rather unlucky.
Would be nice to give my MOTM to Phil for 'that goal', but I'm going for Ben.

Also there's a clown behind me kept calling Phil, Jason. And what was the ovation about mid way through the first half? Would have been well worked if everyone could join in, but then not knowing didn't help.

Battling performance from the lads not helped by the windy conditions.
Still looking solid and well organised and with goalscorers now up front we are a match for anybody.
Phil scored an absolute cracker and strong contender for goal of the season, it's not been a bad week for Phil
MOTM for me between Ben and Bradders.
I believe the clapping was for a young Chelsea fan who lived in Dartford and recently lost their life.

A thoroughly enjoyable game with a deserved win. And yet another cracking goal from Phil. Lets hope we can hang onto him with that form. Full credit to the managers for the turn around. MOTM Ben G with Healey a close second
On another note I have many DFC programmes I hope to pass onto a good home dating back to about 1975. Details on the 'other' subjects part of the forum

did i miss something yesterday, why is ben getting all the m.o.t.m. votes,i cant see what people see in him.
thought that ryno supplied the telling balls not ben,i thought healy and bradders had a far better game than ben
so can someone please tell me what did ben do.
i thought overall we battled well and roberts took his goal well and thought driver did well but i think some players are starting to carry injuries
which could have a affect on us for saturdays game plus suspensions we could be down to the bare bones.
