Darts v Gloucester (Sat 9th March 3pm)

Post by spike »

I'm gonna get in quick and try to keep starting these match threads all the while I'm on a roll.
This one's going to be a toughie without Nobes, but I really do believe in this team now and more importantly, they seem to believe in themselves too.

Well done Spike you redeemed yourself against HH. Looking forward to the game. Not going to be easy, as they have found recent form despite losing last night.

I am sure we will miss Lee, especialy if Billy is not available. Even more worrying is the following Saturday, when both Lee and Elliot will be suspended.

Have I missed something new regarding Billy or is that a reference to the injury he recently came back from? I thought he was fine now. He doesn't drive forward like Nobes, but he's a very good player who brings different qualities to the table and I assumed swapping him for Nobes would be the obvious and probably only change for Saturday.

He didn't seem to be in the squad yesterday.

I assume he was dropped from Saturdays team to accommodate Ryno who was back to full fitness last night

I assumed he and Driver would be on the bench if fit, rather than the two youngsters.

I still can't get my head around having 2 players on the bench with names of Coker & Smoker. Good job we don't have a Croker any more.

Anyway, back to the game! Now that we are getting into the business side of the season I would like to know that if Noble & Crook are unavailable, who will fill in. I know that Ben has played in there before but he didn't look too comfortable and I wonder if Joe Healy would be available or still around the joint.
