Have no idea of management decisions or whether the players are happy, etc. but I know we won a football match which makes me real happy. It's all about results. We are only as good as the last match. Onward to Monday, fingers crossed.

Just another thing the three big guys across the back doesn't work, not for me. Too often beaten for pace yesterday. Even Howard was left for dead on a couple of occasions. The other thing about the number 7 for Braintree, he hit a misplaced pass into the 18yd box and if it hadn't of been for Smithy coming out to collect would have got to his own misplaced pass such was the static defence.
This is not a criticism, well yes, it is.

I have never been critical of our management team on the forum but I thought that the decision to leave Luke Warner-Eley out of the squad completely just to give Ronnie Vint a game was appalling. It seems to me that the management didn't have the balls to drop one of the other centre halves and leaving Luke out was the easy option. Nobody has mentioned that Amos Nasha was also left out of the squad after starting the five previous games. Amos hasn't set world alight since he joined but he can't be happy either.

I fear you may be correct.
Luke Warner-Eley has been one of the positives this season and had he played yesterday (which imo he should of) I dont think we would have conceded the first goal.

We did win the game doesn't that vindicate any decisions made ?

Still think one of them got to go. Ok we won but players out of place and sometimes all over the place which to me is worrying andy Pugh gone out on loan best forward we got he finds space and reads the game Braintree happy to get draw We did play well but as I said earlier very poor team someone said earlier they passed the ball well. So what not good enough of I was a Braintree fan yesterday I would off been pissed off

Not for me. I was delighted that we won and it was deserved but it doesn't cover the fact that it was a poor decision in my opinion. If we had played a recognised left back we could have had kept a clean sheet too and that's not being critical of TB.

Also Nasher plays deep like the number 7 of Braintree but without the footwork , speed and accuracy. No dynamic balls to get players running, always steady short balls, and he doesn't venture far beyond the halfway line. Nasher did not give much to the Dartford performances of the past. So maybe the Deadly Duo got something right. Some of Braintree's players were leaving Dart's players flat footed from a standing start.
Still, as said, it's a win. We will see what happens Monday, but if it's going to be hot again I can't see it being an entertaining game. So anyone travelling, take plenty of water. Such is our Nanny state.

Go to the Club's Twitter A/c to see the 'Away Days' video covering the match. The young lad narrating seems like a pleasant and intelligent chap but strangely couldn't work out that if he took off the jacket he was wearing, and complaining about being too hot in', he wouldn't have been so hot . An enjoyable 10 minutes or so, play spot who you can recognise the crowd for added fun. I may take a look at some of their other efforts.
I will add that for our equaliser Alex (I was sitting behind him) called out the move before the throw, a training ground success, as so nearly was Adam's scissors kick from a corner.
