So we have a week free of a league fixture and, therefore, 2 training sessions to work on the defensive errors that are costing us dear. It would be good to see some more of that character I would expect from players that have been part of championship and promotion winning sides in the past. A clean sheet must be the first target, which will help to build some confidence. But we must also create more opportunities to put the opposition under some pressure. Easy to say but obviously a little more difficult to deliver.

Braintree has turned three straight defeats around and won the last two. Is it to much to ask for a similar reaction from our management and team? The supporters showed at Weymouth that they will get behind a team that is willing to give its all and fight till the end. But we need something to hang onto. Let’s get at them from the first minute and not let them settle. We have three more games in August and need to pick up a win or two before the month is out. Over to you boys...

Its very early in the season to talk about must win games but the next two fixtures against Braintree and Hungerford must surely come into that category. I assume Jordan Wynter's red card ban will come into effect, Ronnie Vint might get a game at right back?

I think Jordan might be available Saturday but will probably be suspended from Monday as it’s 2 weeks from date of offence.

Having sat on the bench watching all those goals going in I can hardly imagine Ronnie looking forward to three games at right back, a position he has played in before without great success. Unfortunately we have three central defenders, none of whom really like playing elsewhere.

It would also be quite hard for Ronny to come in from the cold and hit the ground running. However, after the start we have had he cannot do any worse, I would like to see him given some game time as I think that he is better that what we have at the moment. 3 at the back would be the logical answer but that could well make things even worse, then again, our management team need to find a solution and from what I have seen, they have a bigger issue in the middle of the park. For me Nasha has to take a break and we need to partner Noble with either a fit Luke Allen or give young Brodie a few games. Time is ticking for the managers, if they can't turn things around soon I do hope that one or both do the honourable thing, you cannot keep using the same old excuses of injuries, we were unlucky or poor referee decisions blah, blah blah. Personally, I think that there has either been some poor player recruitment again or confusing instructions from our manager's. Now is the time to step up to the plate as so far the results don't lie.
