Still, a no brainer to contribute and hopefully we blow the roof off the target.
Is there an actual target, and if so, what is it?
£2,000. I expect a target needs to be set - even if it is arbitrary - to generate these GFM campaigns.

That's correct. We'd love to get more than that but appreciate that things are tight for a lot of people. There's no set target but if we can exceed that, we can use it to help out the Club in whatever way we need to.

We raised over £1,000 last year at our Community Fun Day, plus the loss of three quiz nights (at this time), 50/50 etc, £2,000 seemed a logical first "guess"

I've added bank details to the original post
Thanks for that - didn't spot that you could change the value of the 'donation'.

Great move Gary. Have made my donation direct to DFCSA bank.

An excellent initiative. I have just made a contribution to the 2020 Fund directly to the DFCSA and for info, on my HSBC account, the DFCSA account name came up as the DARTFORD FC SUPP ASSOC account name to verify it against their sort code and account number. All straight forward and to me more preferable than donating via the GoFundMe account cos the Darts receive the whole sum.

Another excellent post from the club hierarchy. Well done Steve and co. Definitely correct, the Dartford family.

I am hoping that when the lockdowns are withdrawn, then Darts supporters will return in even greater numbers than before, and get behind the lads on the pitch.

My preference is to see the campaign run to a conclusion. It is going to be strange whatever happens, with players coming back to a cold start as it stands, so form could go out the window. But the club is in good hands and hopefully we can pick up where we left off.
So many decisions still to be made.

Absolutely blown away by the generosity of you all. We're up to £1,600 after about 48 hours (not including the payments direct to the DFCSA - I will update you all on that weekly).

Thank you so much. Things like this really make it worthwhile.

Just donated online bank to bank to DFCSA, with same safeguarding information that Pete mentioned. Well done Gary for helping to organise.

As of 8:30 this evening, with £410 coming into the DFCSA account, we have raised a staggering £2,160 since Saturday lunchtime. On behalf of the Committee, please may I thank each and every one of you who have donated so far. I won't lie, in these tough times, it's really given me personally a boost to see so many people care about our Club so passionately.

I'll be doing a Lockdown Quiz on Facebook Live on Sunday evening (https://www.facebook.com/events/707592633378591/) if anyone is interested. If you so wish, you can donate direct to the fund if you want to join in (or not, entirely up to you).

Morning everyone, thank you again to everyone who has donated. As of 8am, I can confirm that we have hit the total of £2,825 including £1,010 in the DFCSA account directly because of this.

Totally humbled by the response from the DFC family.
