Any manager who stays that long at a club is generally successful [eg TB) so I'd be happy with that.

I'm excited too, just hope we are not setting the new fella up for a fall. Maybe we should all have a whip round to buy him 3 years supply of his favourite hair gel as a welcome gift.

This will be the first game I have attended for a few weeks but now that my boys are all sorted at Lancaster & York universities respectively, I can start to watch regular again. With a new manager at the helm you would expect the players to put in a decent shift and hopefully a decent vociferous crowd will be there to cheer us onto victory. Bring it on.

I cant wait for this, and really exicited by King's appointment and a Place in the first round of the FA Cup up for grabs should be a good atmosphere

The Duke's just phoned me on the land line to ask how to switch his North Korean mobile off as he so rarely has it switched on

Hopefully with a bit of buzz about there might be a decent size crowd for this. I wouldn’t have us as big favourites but being at home and with the new guy does make me think we’ll edge it. Need to come up with a chant for the new incumbent.

Hey Trevor, I have offered to give him one of my old phones but he said, unless it has knobs or buttons it's no good to him. Have to say that I do miss his posts on here and hopefully he will return now that we have a manager on board. Catch up with tomorrow, for the first time in a long time I'm actually looking forward to a game. Let's all get behind that goal and make some noise.
