Absolutely crying out for a clinical striker.
Not sure that’s the problem today tbh. We haven’t created many clear cut chances for a clinical striker to put away
It might be the pitch but it’s our passing that’s been off today. I feel we’ve caused more problems with balls over the top (not sure about some of those offsides)
Defensively we seem okay but Lewes look like they can nick a goal at any point with those balls to the back post
You may be right. I think i’m just fed up with seeing our striker, who is already very isolated with the way we play, play right back for the majority of the game.

Think it's time to look at goalkeepers !
There’s other problems too. We have a striker that doesn’t score goals just runs, today we had 2 holding midfielders out wide, one of them replacing our only creative player today
The whole game felt like it would be 1-0 either way. Carruthers was our best player and I understood his frustration at coming off. But weirdly, we looked a lot stronger as a team in the last 30 minutes. Lewes couldn’t deal with our press and we suddenly looked like scoring
You’d have hoped given our start to the season we might get a bit of luck but it went the other way today
Poor display only four or five players clapping at the end
Dreadful from start to finish.
Pennock stopping the players coming over at the end too is disgraceful. Fair play to Olly, tennnat and henly who ignored him and did it anyway.
Half the lineup out of position, subs coming on and making it worse.
Can’t remember a game where we’ve offered so little.
Jones with another stinking performance.
If Olly goes in Jan our season is done.
The winning goal was absolutely from a corner we had in the 93 min which was played short, then again played backwards towards the centre circle, directly to the opposition. It was one of the biggest suicide buttons I’ve ever witnessed in what was otherwise a very even contest.
