Re: Ady Signs New Contract & Player Updates

I did wonder about this signing, straight off to Hythe Town wasn't exactly ringing quality. I know he had injuries but then to suddenly drop off the radar???

Re: Cheshunt v Dartford Tue 10 Mar 2026

I did think this could have been a banana skin to effectively end our season but now it prolongs our season. For a while.
i will go to Folkestone Saturday, they are already getting big crowds and it could almost be a carnival atmosphere for them.
But Chatham had over 3000 and we turned them over ...

Re: Cheshunt v Dartford Tue 10 Mar 2026

Tonight is The Night of Reckoning for our season in my opinion. We lose this one and for me , we can sit back and see how far we descend.
On the other hand, if we win, Saturdays game will hopefully be one of hope that our season hasn't ended.
I'm not counting my chickens, but maybe we'll get to see ...

Re: Wingate & Finchley v Dartford Sat 7 Mar 2026

We all know that there ARE some fans on here that do spout rubbish Mikey but also that there are caring fans too.
I cherry pick my matches of late ( last three or four seasons), not because of the standard of football but because of the driving up. I have been a supporter since 1968.
I entirely ...

Re: Wingate & Finchley v Dartford Sat 7 Mar 2026

I also think that discipline has been a major issue this season and the fact that we had no Josh Hill at the back and as team Captain.
How we came to have Michael as team captain while sitting most of the season injured is beyond me.
We could end up losing our top youngsters this summer as kids ...

Re: Wingate & Finchley v Dartford Sat 7 Mar 2026

Of course we're all disappointed and one or two are reverting back to bashing Henley???
In my opinion he came across as at a loss for words for the performance. in fact he was running out of words in the end for this performance.
I wasn't at the game so find it very confusing after Tuesday night's ...

Re: Dartford v Ramsgate Tue 3 Mar 2026

I thought Ramsgate's triple substitution at half time did themselves no favours at all. In fact I thought they were a much poorer side for it. Our defence coped throughout with balls into the box. Their attack was poor but they were quick out of defence.
McLeod was my MOTM, I thought he had a great ...

Re: Dartford v Ramsgate Tue 3 Mar 2026

From Ade's last two interviews I expect that the crowd are going to enjoy this one. As we did the last three games.
I shall meet up with my Ramsgate friend and then run and hide somewhere at Kick 0ff.

Re: Welling Utd v Dartford Sat 28 Feb 2026

Would like to think we will get something from this game but after the last two games it is difficult to see that happening.
Welling are scrapping for the points and are now in touch with an escape route out of the bottom four.
We have to win to stay in the mix. I feel anything else would be another ...

Must have been the last six minutes of the game. Very apt. No first half highlights?? Oh, yeah, there was no first half.

Re: Dartford v Cray Wanderers Sat 21 Feb 2026

What a crock of crap that was. Both will be in the same division next season. Very poor.
Terrible game of poor passing and hoofing. I was tempted at saying at times both our wide defenders were available when Henley decided to hoof it up the pitch. But have not seen Oduado have a mare of a game like ...

Re: Potters Bar Town v Dartford Sat 14 Feb 2026

Callum is more of a Tommy Henderson type, feeds off the loose ball in the box. But admittedly, he's not even doing that this season.
In any case Tommy was a lot better at it.

Re: Potters Bar Town v Dartford Sat 14 Feb 2026

If we made the top 5 Barry, we'd only be making up the numbers. Not good enough for promotion.
When we started the season we were on a high because a relatively good squad wanted to play for us and had a job to 'finish'. But as said, new players acquired during the summer were obviously found to be ...

Re: Potters Bar Town v Dartford Sat 14 Feb 2026

Really disappointed with this result I don't see many games in a season but the one's that I have seen I've been really impressed with our performances. So, to see this result was a big let down. I can not see Ade's reasoning for putting in the new loanee's when we had Olly, Eddie and Luther on the ...

Re: Cheshunt v Dartford Sat 7 Feb 2026

Yet another tough game. These are the one's we should be winning to maintain our play-off position. It's okay getting wins over the top three but then we lose to lower opposition, such is our season.
