If the club really wanted to pull in the floating supporter they would have done admission prices pay on the gate in line with the rest of the league at £12.
I will be there however it feels steep for Ishmian prem football £15 a go and not all of us can do season tickets! Dover currently doing a 6 game bundle at a discount not sure why we didn’t do that TBH.
Are Potters Bar going to be this seasons whipping boys? Tuesday will give us a good indication of that I think.

We are the most expensive ticket in the league. Mostly by a long long way. Most are 12-13 , odd couple 14 but there is a £10 in there too.
It’s despicable and ignored they are getting away with this.
Dover entrance is£15 but guess what, you can buy a bundle of 5 for £67 right now.
That’s £13.4 per ticket.
Local community for people who can’t commit to a season ticket or even floating fans.
Yet were alienating a certain demographic.
I’m one of them.
They don’t care about me so I don’t care about the boys club that run the club mostly for its mates.
Most expensive in the league and in most cases by a long way.
The boys club not said much on this.
Youth 13-16 £5, why not 13-17.
17 is £10 on its own, 17 years old is still in education, if you’re a footy fan at 17 but not affiliated to Dartford why would you go there?
Why can’t there be a reduced price for 18-21?
So someone on a decent salary will pay the same as an 18 year old in education.
No family tickets no bundle tickets nothing.
Welling is £16 adult
17 year old is £8
Under 11s free
Students £11, this can be any age and takes into account those in education.
My 39 year old partner is a student.
A much, much higher level, where’s a floating fan going to gp, young, old or a family.
Before I get the usual boys club rhetoric I’ve been living in Dartford for over 20 years, this is my local team and there can never be anyone else.
I’m calling things as I see them and my attendance at home will drop massively for the first time since I can remember.
I will go as many away games as possible.
Most of you will hate this post but if you’re honest you won’t disagree with a lot of it.

They lost their first 6 matches last year, including 5-0 on the opening day, but ended up having a solid mid-table season. They have the same manager and core of players, plus a few decent new recruits, so they may just be slow starters.

Fingers crossed they carry on where they left off on Saturday

Ade critical of Denzelle's overhaul game. Yes, he praises the goal but says he needs to buckle down in other areas.
Good that Ade takes that attitude as we don't need a player thinking he's the nuts. Keeps them grounded. I like that.
Peach of a goal though.

Was very surprised on Sunday to see how rough the pitch is looking right now. Still no replacement groundsman and it appears that the sprinklers are still not working. It’s a shame after all Jays efforts that it’s being allowed to get like this. Hopefully since Sunday it has at least been cut. Looking forward to our first home game of the season.

Very poor if so, having no groundsman is absolutely criminal. We've always had one of the better pitches in the league and I hope it doesn't go to pot just because we've lost our groundsman

The club have got the pricing wrong. Not enough thought went into the pricing , lazy attitude to the pricing
The youth pricing should have been extended to 18 year olds
All the pricings are at least £1 too much. Just compare with rivals.

Says to me they still want the exclusive club to attend season tickets are good value for any floating fan it’s lose lose and I just don’t understand why the club are treating people so differently if you can buy a season ticket you pay 50% less than pay on the gate and that is wrong

Lots of moaning before first kick of a ball at PP, good stuff. I am a stickler for tradition.
Will see about the pitch condition tonight, but couldn’t agree less about the £15 entry. Yes, it is only Isthmian level football, but as has been pointed out, our ground and facilities are way beyond the average club at this strata, improved since the Step 1 days in which it was a decent fit. Probably for a separate thread if there is enough vitriol about gate prices, although I think it’s the first I’ve heard this summer.
Glad the temperature will be low twenties rather than yesterday’s ridiculous heat. Hopefully PBT bring a few along, wouldn’t blame them for driving the dreaded orbital to get here (please fill your cars as the car park seems to lull at 60% capacity these days). They will arrive a wounded animal ready to retaliate tonight, hopefully we are too much for them.

I think had we stayed up the prices would have gone up to £16. So a ‘virtual reduction’ to £15 for a ‘lower standard’ of football seems fair to me. (Some might argue that last season’s standard couldn’t be lowered.) Heigh-ho - if it was a fiver some would still complain.

Mikey is right. PB will turn up as a 'wounded animal '. I do not see this as an easy game tonight.

They have a new goalie playing.
"MK Dons goalkeeper Seb Stacey has signed for Bar on an initial month-long loan"
