Sat 6th July 3pm - Charlton (H)
Sat 13th July 3pm - Sevenoaks (A)
Tue 16th July 7:45pm - Margate (A)
Tue 23rd July 7:45pm - Gillingham (H)

Agree the sentiment about the home games against bigger clubs and getting a spanking isn’t nice but also gotta see the clubs point of view for a great opportunity financially to help.

Pretty testing preseason ????

I get that it is important to have one home pre season game that gets a goood attendance but I think it’s more important to put the squad in a confident mood for the season with a few goals and wins behind us
If we want some money spinning games how about a nice run in the FA Cup rather than losing to teams at a lower step than us

I'm not usually bothered about pre season friendlies, but will be probably go to one or two. Seems like a reasonable mix of games so far, could maybe do with another lower ranked team though

Hopefully Ady will be focusing on stuff like fitness and tactics rather than karaoke. Whoever the opposition, it surely can't be any worse than last year's pre-season.

That karaoke was some of the most cringe worthy clips I have seen. Felt sorry for all those who were subjected to it.

That aside, the appointment of a fitness coach is a big statement and probably part of the negotiations for Adys appointment (I'd guess it was him pushing for it). Hopefully it will pay dividends in points, ie not dropped in the last 5-10 mins.

Just as well that Wall and Allen moved on as even the thought of Adys new program would have meant a visit to A & E !!!!!!

With the cancellation of the Sevenoaks game we now have TWO free Saturdays 13th and 20th July , be good IF Ady can fit a couple of games in , preferably against lower league status to give the new lads a chance to " bed in " and get some confidence playing as a team !!!!
