Dartford’s latest financial accounts show a loss of more than £70,000 in the 2022/23 campaign.

The financial statement is for the year ending June 30, 2023 and is the first time in a number of years that the Darts have posted a loss.

The accounts cover the club’s first season under then-manager Alan Dowson after they parted company with Steve King in May, 2022.

Dartford finished the 2022/23 campaign in second spot in National League South, 20 points behind runaway champions Ebbsfleet.

They were knocked out of the play-offs on penalties at the Semi-Final stage by St Albans, losing 5-3 on spot-kicks following a 1-1 draw.

Sacking king was a horrendous decision, add that with the selection of Dowse then it’s a combination of the highest level of incompetence.
I’m sure this didn’t help with payoffs etc.
I know king was a few years ago but if they didn’t sack king they wouldn’t need to pay Dowse the clown his payoff.

Shambolic ownership.
