Dartford Football Club prides itself on being a community club with its fan base made up of all different demographics. Whilst it was necessary to take action over the minority that were not adhering to the Club’s principles, it is noticeable that there have not been many issues of late. Consequently, the Club will trial for the remainder of the season lifting the requirement for Youths (age 13-17) to either be accompanied by an adult or be a member of the Youth Membership Scheme. We look forward to welcoming all the Youth in the locality to Princes Park free of charge to make some noise and show their support during our last 4 home fixtures alongside new amended admission prices for all age groups. We want as many people as possible to come and get behind the players in the last few home games to try and get the wins we require.

Someone said this game wasn’t a must win. It absolutely 100% is.
We won’t gain any places in the table whatever happens, but may very well slip down to 22nd if we lose. We have almost a full squad to chose from, so have a realistic chance at home against fellow strugglers.
Looking at the table, it’s so simple - teams averaging over 1ppg look most likely to survive and a win on Monday would put us in that category. Let’s not forget that Dover - who have played the same number of games as us and only have half as many points - were only mathematically relegated yesterday.

I don’t see how anyone can look at this game and it’s not must win.
It is 100% a must win game, not only for the 3 points but also the confidence it’ll bring going into the remaining fixtures.

We need the 12th man to play a massive part. Roll up and make a massive noise sorting the team

I think due to other teams picking points every now and then it has to be must win it can’t be anything else.
I think AP had one eye on this game as a bigger opportunity than Chelmsford and has planned for that.
Not suggesting we did t go to Chelmsford and not try and get something but Monday is yet another huge day. Winning is a big step forward but with a long way to go and losing is not worth thinking about.
Let’s put Eastbourne to bed.

Interesting article by Steve King in today's edition of the Non-League Paper. When it comes to recruitment he's one of the best in the business.
Especially his knowledge of players at the level above of whichever division he's managing in at the time.
Unlike Dowse his sacking wasn't down to results. And whatever was going on off the field didn't make him unemployable elsewhere, and moved on to take unfancied Gloucester City into the play-offs. With average players on expensive contracts he took on a basket case in going to Havant & Waterlooville and no matter who was incharge they would still be in the same position they find themselves in now.
Post King we've been going backwards ever since.
Our recent recruitment policy under Dowse has been dreadful.
With the exception of Michael Chinn have we really brought anyone in whose been better than we've already got? It's been no more than a freshening up exercise. New faces with the occasional half decent debut followed by nothing else brought to the table thereafter.
Once released some have found their way to the Isthmian Premier where they've rediscovered their eye for goal, which is hardly surprising. The fact they haven't been able to do it in the National South is why we're are now facing our biggest game of the season tomorrow.

His problem was he was addicted to recruitment with a revolving door policy. Agree though the pedigree of players he brought to the club was far higher than dowson which isn’t saying a lot being honest

Also reading the NLP, I read Steve Tully on his appointment at Poole Town is to bring back the fear factor to the club.
Should have applied for the Dart's job.
It was already here.

I think that you mean Richard Chin. It's a good job that the Malt Shovel ran out of Guinness last night if it affects your memory that much!

Trust you to pick up on that one. No point in editing it now 😄.
Don't forget the 600 ml bottle of 7.5% Nigerian Export I had with me as well.
That doesn't make it any easier when trying to remember the names of every single player we've had on the books in the last few seasons.

Unlikely, but Yeovil could be crowned champions tomorrow if they win at Weymouth and Chelmsford lose at Dover. The Glovers are sure to have the title sewn up by the time we visit next Saturday.

Fair play to Yeovil, but I can’t take them seriously as long as they wear that bleeding Celtic kit!!

Ajax, I thought that George Alexander was a very good goal scorer.
Against us at Chelmsford he got two goals from inside the six yard box.
How many goals did he get for us, inside the six yard box?
How many goals did he get?
The only one I can think of is the cushioned header against Yeovil. A delightful goal and at the time he was the only forward in the 18 yard box.
We need to win today.
I won't be there.

Have heard from a source, that in the event of relegation Mr Pennock would move on.
