Excellent performance tonight against a Whitstable team that although they tried to put up a fight, they were no competition for us what so ever.
You could certainly tell the difference in Caliber, skill & class between the two teams and the difference in leagues.
Whitstable did hit a cracker of a free kick for their goal though, Dan Wilks didn’t even move when that went in.
Jake Robinson & Tyrique Hyde we’re both superb tonight, absolutely electric and both would fully deserve MOTM but Jake has to get it for his hat trick, he could’ve had 5 tonight had 2 not been offside. Tyrique chipped in with a goal and set a couple up for the others to score, he is a very welcome addition back in to the squad and makes our attack stronger in the central midfield position.
Our two fullbacks tonight Kedman & Clarke both looked excellent and very quick, I think Clarke will certainly give Wynter a battle for the right back spot & Michael Kedman would be excellent cover for Jernade if needed as well as being an attacking winger.
Plenty of noise from behind the goal supporting the team although some lads seemed to get a bit silly after the game by running on the pitch and sliding around. Not clever in front of the top bodes at the KCFA .
An excellent 6 - 1 result though and a piece of silverware in the trophy cabinet albeit 2yrs late. Hopefully we can add some more to it this season with the London Cup, possibly FA Trophy & most importantly the League Championship winning trophy.
We’ve still got this seasons Kent Senior Trophy to play for as well, we’ve now won it 13 times, may be we could make it 14.
