Dartford Football Club prides itself on being a community club with its fan base made up of all different demographics. Whilst it was necessary to take action over the minority that were not adhering to the Club’s principles, it is noticeable that there have not been many issues of late. Consequently, the Club will trial for the remainder of the season lifting the requirement for Youths (age 13-17) to either be accompanied by an adult or be a member of the Youth Membership Scheme. We look forward to welcoming all the Youth in the locality to Princes Park free of charge to make some noise and show their support during our last 4 home fixtures alongside new amended admission prices for all age groups. We want as many people as possible to come and get behind the players in the last few home games to try and get the wins we require.

Hoping for the new manager bounce tomorrow. Time to see some fight and passion from the players . I want to see them getting stuck in , doing their best , thats all we ask for . Come on boys , we have got this .

The club have just announced that there is a pitch inspection at 11am.

For two reasons i think this is a good thing:-

1. It gives Ade a bit of time to get settled in.

2. I've got a massive hangover.

This could be a blessing in disguise! We should be better prepared for the rearranged game.

Lager, Sangria and Cider probbaly not the best combination but a toasted ham sandwich and a bottle of water has done the trick

Gutted the game is off but I guess if could turn into a positive, it will at least give Ade time with the players. Hopefully we will be able to get rid of the dead wood and bring in some decent signings by the time we have our next match .

Positive: Gives Ade more time to stamp his style and ideas on the squad, and possibly bring in a couple for depth.

Negative: Worthing is always going to be a difficult game, however this was probably the best time to play them as they are currently in a transition period following the departure of Hinshelwood.


Hopefully we can get a staff update and possibly an interview with the new manager before our next game. Would be nice to hear from him in person.

I hope Taunton get a better 'heads up ' from Truro should their game be called off today.
