I have just read the KM decades supplement in this week's KM Faversham News. It's mostly photography from the 70's decade.
There's a photo of the Maidscum players in the bath celebrating the victory over the Dart's. Maidstone reached the last 32 of the FA Trophy in 1972.
There's no photo or mention of the Dartford team that reached the final of the same FA Trophy two years later. Maybe because we lost that one as well.
