For those of you that had forgotten about this competition our opponents at home in the 2nd round of the London Senior Cup will be QPR U21's who beat Corinthian Casuals 4-1 tonight.

The match will take place on Tuesday February 6th. The winners will be away to Cray Wanderers in the quarter finals.

A bit like back in the days of the 60's when our reserves played in the Metropolitan League, and regularly came up against some of the 'A' teams of the major London clubs.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Fulham and West Ham spring to mind and there were players in those teams who made it to the Football League of the day.
So yes, there may be an opportunity to pick up a promising youngster on loan.

Albert Adomah is hardly what you would class as a developing player. He is 36 and has nearly 650 PL & EFL appearances to his name with the likes of Bristol City, Middlesbrough, Aston Villa and Cardiff. He also has 18 caps for Ghana.

Great to play there but the plastic pitch was a joke and should never have been allowed. It was like playing on concrete.

Plastic pitches have moved on massively since those days - a completely different ball game now
